Its been a year since Avatar Aang defeated the fire lord. Aang has told Katara how he truly feels about her. But what happens when he runs into major problems?

He then opened his mouth and slid his tongue into the roof of my mouth. I squealed in shock and my eyes blinked open. Seeing- Feeling Aang take charge like that was a shock. A big one. He continued to kiss me with his thumbs caressing my torso for another second or two before my brother flicked him sitting from his left. Saying his usual "OOGIES". I almost got mad at him -also as usual- but I couldn't. I was still in so much shock from that kiss. The way Aang did it in front of everyone and how fast it progressed. How the crowd even cheered. It was thrilling. It's always exciting with Aang but this was new. I decided to follow writing prompts for Kataang week, so this book will be a bunch of Kataang and their family one-shots (not chronological). Most of them are pretty short. None of them are related to each other unless otherwise specified. Not really Kataang week because I didn't follow the prompts they had so... here. In my first ever fanfiction I'm writing about the first moments of Aang and Katara being a couple. The story begins after Sokka interrupted their kiss. 13-11-2020: I only have written the first chapter as a sort of pilot to get some reviews and/or critics. Like what did and didn't you, or what would you like to see added. For now, my plan for the next chapter is Aang becomes very busy and doesn't have much time to spend with Katara and feels bad about it. While at the same time Katara sees that Aang is very busy and tired, so she feels like she asks too much time of Aang so she acts kinda withdrawn.

After leaving Aang for Zuko, Katara thinks her life is finally on track. Aang was left heartbroken and lost, allowing himself to fall into a rut of sadness for months, while Katara gained happiness with Zuko. The gaang splits up to fulfill their duties and years pass. Unexpectedly, Toph and Aang begin to grow closer and find out they have feelings for each other. When the gaang reunites after being apart for so long, Katara can't help but feel jealous of Toph, and begins to question whether or not she still has feelings for Aang. ___________________________________ This story is basically about a love triangle between Toph, Aang, and Katara. (I don't know which relationship is going to be endgame yet) I know not everyone is a huge fan of Taang (TophxAang) but I've actually come to like it as a ship. They compliment each other in a certain way that just makes sense. I also still love Kataang though, don't worry. Stick around to see what happens! The Hunger Games had been a tradition for 100 years. And that year wasn't any different. Each district gave up two teenagers for the Games, one bender and one nonbender. They would fight to the death to see which district was the best that year. However, this year, something was different. The people in the Games were different this year. And they were ready to storm the Capitol at nightfall. --- Katara hated her life. Everything about it sucked, but there was nothing she could do to make it better. And then it got even worse when she was chosen to be in the Hunger Games. She was the bender from District 4, and the nonbender that got chosen was - get this - her brother, Sokka. Their lives couldn't get any better, right? When they made it to the Capitol, they realized how unskilled they were. Most of the other people had an unfair advantage to the Games - they had been training for it their whole lives. Katara was terrified of the Games. However, there was a certain anger growing in her. She wouldn't die in the Games. No, she would live just to spite everyone who doubted her. That spite spurred her through the Games. It gave her the drive to take care of the kid from District 10 who was also doubted. It gave her the drive to go along with the uprising, to storm the Capitol at nightfall. Katara just didn't think the sun would rise in the morning.
