The Fire Nation is in the process of rebuilding after the defeat of Fire Lord Ozai, and Zuko is now the new Fire Lord. As part of a diplomatic mission to maintain peace and unity, Zuko invites Katara to the Fire Nation to help him establish a new relationship between the water tribes and the Fire Nation. The two of them find themselves in awkward but sweet situations as they learn to navigate their growing friendship (and more!) amidst a new world order.

Zuko and Katara realised that all the sentimental talk was starting to bring back old feelings. This story is set two months after Book Three of Legend of Korra. This takes place about a week after the final scene in Avatar, at the tea shop, and Katara has some revelations. Will she be able to push down her feelings when tending to an issue in the Fire Nation, or will it affect her? Does she want to risk her friendship for a crush- or is it more? Inspired by Chinese Drama Truth or Dare or 花好月又圆 / The flowers are blooming and the moon is full Katara Daughter of the Water Tribe is put into an arranged marriage with Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation. Neither said No but neither were exactly happy. Zuko didn't particularly care and Katara understood her duty but it didn't stop her from yearning after the masked hero who saved her life.

After the war, the Gaang decides to move in with Iroh at his tea shop apartment for a while, and Iroh realizes he'll need to move into a bigger apartment, maybe even a house, to fit everyone in. Yes, the tea business was thriving, but he couldn't exactly afford a mansion. He got a modest home with 4 bedrooms. One for Sokka and Suki, one for Iroh and Toph (with separate beds, ofcourse), one for Zuko, and one for Aang and Katara. But what happens when Aang and Katara get into a huge fight one night and Katara decides to crash in someone else's room? Read to find out! A 'Canon Divergence', I believe it's called. So, basically, this story picks up when Zuko and Katara are flying back to camp during the 'southern raiders' episode; book 3, episode 14. This fic is an alternate ending, the ending we were robbed of, for Avatar: The Last Airbender. Zuko and Katara, much to Katara's original dismay, are a perfect duo. They balance each other, yin and yang like. They serve as the perfect reminder to each other to not look back; they're not going that way.

After the events of "Southern Raiders" Zuko and Katara explore the possibility of a loving relationship
