Elizabeth Grace, mother of one, recently single and financially troubled Brit is on flight Oceanic 815 from Sydney to Los Angeles. After her plane crashes on a peculiar island, she is left to start a fresh with no worries other than simply surviving. However she is forced into a world that doesn't fit with the logic of the world, along with now having to share a beach with many strangers in her same boat. Will Lizzie be able to get home to her daughter? Will new budding romance from the island become anything more. And will she and her new friends be able to survive?

Seventeen-year-old Natalia Ivanova Bennani has spent her whole life running from ghosts: her mother's death, her father's rage, the sister she never knew she had until it was too late. After surviving a childhood of bruises and Russian whispers she never wanted to understand, she takes her little sister Alena and flees halfway across the world in search of answers about a mother she barely remembers and a sister she's never met. Taking a much needed break from the rest of the Avengers. But as they're on their way back to the States, flying by Oceanic Flight 815 from Sydney to Los Angeles, the plane had steered over a thousand miles off course, before crashing onto a mysterious island. An island inhabited by a strange smoke-like monster, and where polar bears roam the the jungle. Steve, Bucky, and the rest of the survivors from Oceanic 815 are forced to learn how to survive on this island until rescue comes. Unfortunately for the castaways, rescue doesn't come as soon as they'd like it to, and they learn that they're not the only people on the island. You know Kate's story and how the Marshal's life ended. But what if she hadn't asked Sawyer to shoot him? What if they found stronger antibiotics and he wasn't doomed to an early and painful death? Kate did seem to genuinely are about him, even just a little. She put the mask on his face, asked if he was in pain, wanted it to be quick and painless, she cared even if it was just a bit. Things would've been much different if Edward Mars had survived. This is just a one-shot but I recently rewatched the first few episodes of Lost and realised that they had an interesting relationship. I just think things could've and should've gone differently, the Marshal had a lot of potential. He could've witnessed that Kate is a good person, you'll see. This is more of a teaser for a possible short story than a one-shot. Tell me what you think.
