I ship Steve and Kate so much. There's literally no fan fiction for them so i figured i'd try and fill the gap in the market. I'm not expecting this to get many reads so it'll probably just be this one part :)

A different twist to the season 6 final. What if Kate was the one that was shot........... I'm rubbish at summaries, please read :)

Your a DS freshly transferred from murder squad to AC-12, you applied for the job months ago amd never thought you'd get it. You'd been all over the place, murder squad, counter-terrorsim, armed units, the lot. It's your first day, at the notorious anti-corruption unit, good fucking luck.

When Kate Fleming receives her commendation for her role in revealing the identity of "The Caddy", DS Steve Arnott has his eye on a woman in green, sitting besides his gaffer. Arnott is in pieces. Fleming visits his flat, and the two make a startling discovery about their relationship with one another.

Kate feels bad that she hasn't been able to see Steve recently, so she decides to surprise him with his favourite takeaway. What she finds when she's in his flat turns the evening on its head. Set in Series Six, and is suitable for people who do or don't ship Flemnott. Warning: contains mentions of drug and alcohol abuse, and contains swearing.
