In a dystopian world, hundreds of years ago, the leaders of Advivere went underground to protect themselves from the enemy in the neighboring lands. Even after the danger passed the clan stayed underground. Because it was safe. There was no risk of being attacked or accidentally invading someone else's territory, for the clan's small population it was a gift. But when resources and capacity decreased in the bunker, the leaders started sending people outside. Every year a team of trained teenagers exits the bunker to survive outside. If successful then their family's and chosen few join them in their new home. If not, well, that means they're dead. Celeste is training to be one of the chosen 20 to go up to the world and fight for her clan. However, the world above is not as beautiful as she thinks.
