Set in 1969, the newsies have all grown into young adults and are leading their own lives. As he is called back to Manhattan, Specs uncovers old memories and scars from his past. And as the turmoil of the year unfolds, it changes everything for the whole crew, forever. 

These are my own personal headcanons about Newsies that I come up with here and there. If you don't like them, 1. I'm sorry, and 2. They're not real so there you go

A Modern AU in which Jack Kelly lives with at least twenty other foster kids. Every single day is difficult for the kids as they avoid the authorities and try to stay out of trouble. Until a murder happens, and one of Jack's boys is the prime suspect. Jack, the usually optimistic dreamer, sees no way out. Until he meets this cute girl at work and suddenly things start looking up. Will Jack and his friends, new and old, be able to clear the suspect's name before it is too late or will they be separated forever? I don't own the Newsies from either the original movie or the Broadway. I don't own my title technically since it is a lyric from Santa Fe in the Broadway. I know the summary is not that great, but at least take a peek.

After wandering unknowingly from her home in Brooklyn, New York, eleven year old Millie is suddenly stranded in Manhattan with nobody to rescue her, nobody except Jack Kelly, who adopts her into his life under the name Splash. Two years later Splash embarks on a thrilling journey to help Jack and the newsies through the strike, and along the way some pieces from her shattered and mysterious past begin to resurface. *IMPORTANT* This story contains mild violence. The reader gets a Newsies costume from somewhere, and then they and their brother go to their grandparents, and their grandparents have a magic wardrobe and the reader gets pulled into the closet and ends up in Brooklyn, a little while before the strike and it is the plot of the Broadway show. And the reader has to finish the story to get back to the present time. What happens when they fall for the smart mouthed reporter?

Jack Kelly is a multimillionaire and the 8th most powerful man in New York. Whilst away on a business trip, his impulsive assistant decides to bring over a visitor. A visitor who reminds Mr Kelly of himself and his humble beginnings. A visitor who can maybe teach Mr Kelly a few valuable lessons... -i suck at summaries. After unfortunate events, Theodosia is left to support and care for her family alone. However, times are hard and circumstances make finding a job quite difficult. Thus forcing her to take some desperate measures, the same ones she swore she would never go to. The cover is of Theodosia but I do not own it. It was made on Dollify by LizzyKelly1899.
