Ensign Harry Kim discovers a printed and framed holoimage of a mysterious woman in Lt. Tom Paris's quarters when he goes to get something for the conn officer, he returns for the holoimage when Tom is on the holodeck and is talking about it with Janeway, Chakotay, Tuvok, Neelix and Kes. Tom Paris returns to his quarters to find the holoimage of his wife gone, he goes to the Mess Hall to hope someone will help him when he some of the crew surrounding Harry. Neelix notices Tom, Harry hands the holoimage back to him and Tom tells the story of the woman. An AU where B'Elanna was never in the Maquis or on Voyager, she's still on Earth, where she was married by the age of 21.

Samuel "Sam" Paris is the older brother of Tom Paris he's 27 when he's stationed aboard Voyager as the temporary security officer before working in Engineering eventually working alongside B'Elanna Torres a former Maquis. Sam's father pulled strings to get him stationed aboard so that he can keep an eye on his younger brother but what Sam doesn't expect is to fall for another former Maquis, T'Rina Greene, a Vulcan/Human hybrid who's the communication officer. These are short stories of the Voyager crew. There will be main characters paired with OC's. There will be character paired with their in universe love interests. There will be pairings that never (but should've) happened. These won't be based on episodes but sometimes scenes will be taken from some episodes. B'Elanna and K'Ehleyr Torres are twin sisters, they're identical twins except in some physical features and their attitudes, K'Ehleyr is more level headed than her sister. Unlike B'Elanna, K'Ehleyr graduated from the Academy and became a Starfleet officer. K'Ehleyr is stationed on Voyager as the Second Officer when she meets Tom Paris who's an observer while Voyager looks for the Maquis when things go all wrong, Voyager gets stuck 70,000 light years from home, K'Ehleyr reunites with B'Elanna after three years of not seeing her, then things get harder as K'Ehleyr falls in love with Tom Paris, but is too scared to admit it. For the 25 Days of Voyager event, this story centers on well alot... It's Kathryn, Chakotay, and Astrea's first Christmas together. This is the epilogue to Timeline C: The Final Shape. If you haven't read the main story (Protocols Unknown: A Decision of The Stars), Astrea is the Borg baby girl the writers forgot about in Collective. For those who've read it: yes, this is a JC one-shot. You're welcome. Or I'm sorry. Probably both. Quick reminder for returning readers and a warning for new readers, bring your tissues and camomile tea with you. There was no word count limit (thankfully), and apparently I have feelings. Also, as someone who prefers writing Janeway-centered and not paired, this was... an experience. Merry Christmas. You can still read this as a standalone holiday story.

Some context: Tom and B'Elanna had a relationship in the Maquis which they rekindled in S1 of Voyager, it's also a secret relationship. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rain shows up on Voyager after being injured, Chakotay decides to bring her aboard. The crew later discovers that's what was meant to happen and now Tom's the tour guide for Rain. B'Elanna suddenly gets very jealous and possessive of Tom, much to everyone's confusion. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I got the idea for this story from @Melina-Vostokoff, the story's called 'Torn Between'. Disclaimer: I don't own Star Trek, or the characters, I do own the plotline of this story. Somethings from episodes will be mentioned, I don't own the episodes or the scripting.

Following Kathryn Janeway and Chakotay throughout 160 episodes (double features count as one) and their developing relationship. Might stray from canon here or there. Parts will be numbered according to production numbers. So 1.01 is Caretaker, Parallax will be 1.03. Part 1 is set directly after Caretaker. Janeway and Chakotay getting a feel for each other when things have quieted down.
