Jamie Miller was a freak. Everyone knew it. He'd be called names, shoved into lockers, anything that would grab his attention to try make him snap. He didn't care anymore. He was so used to it that he felt numb. That was, until a girl showed up. Rosabelle Valentine, an American transfer student, had been attending the school for the amount of time he had, yet he never noticed her. Sure, he had heard her speak up in class, or talk to her friends, but he had never thought of her the way he did now. She had taken notice of the fact he was being bullied, & stood up for him, much to Jamie's surprise. He didn't think anyone would defend him. After that, he started seeing her in a way he never saw anyone else before. Watching her for a second longer than he should when she asked a question in class, staring at her like a lost puppy when she skipped with her friends on the way to lunch. He was a lovesick fool. But did she see him the same? Or would he end up being heartbroken? (Not sexualising!!) (Almost every character in this book belongs to the show Adolescence!) (My version of Jamie miller probably won't be like the version in the show, & he wont kill Katie in this book!)
