Esmeralda Theo, a young girl from district 12, won the 66th Hunger Games; being the second youngest to ever win. Now with all her trauma from the games, she's a mentor who has to help the tributes get through the games. After meeting Katniss and Peeta she knew things were going to be different. With the help from Cinna, Effie, Haymitch, and Finnick, this is how Esmeralda gets through everything while trying to help them. My eyes open to a world painted with pastels as the sun begins to set. Peeta grins at the subtlety and simplicity of my happiness, a joy that comes not from doing something, but from a state of being. A joy that comes from just being here in the tranquility of a timeless meadow. He gets to his feet and extends his hand to me. "May I please have this dance?" I smile, lacing my fingers with his, "Only because you said please." We dance, not to any audible melody, but to the music of our breathing, our hearts that thrum in tandem. ➳➳➳ Those months trapped in the Capitol prison weigh heavily on Katniss, the waves of grief drown her. But slowly, she learns to be happy again. The loss never leaves, but with Peeta at her side, it lessens until eventually, the two are content. ➳➳➳ A bonus epilogue containing little snippets of Katniss and Peeta's life as they learn to be happy again.

Her green eyes shined with an emotion that Finnick recognized immediately, from feeling it himself. They understood what each other were feeling, and exactly what was being said without words. Which was good, considering neither of them had the guts to say it out loud, "probably not ever." "That's not true." He smiled knowingly. "The point is," Kaianna dodged his belief easily, "my view on you is starting to change. I've been able to see you from a different perspective, and I never would've let that happen on my own." "I believe that." He chuckled. "Don't take it personally," She shrugged. When she looked in his eyes, she knew he somehow didn't understand where she was coming from, "everyone I've ever loved, has been stolen from me. To get to know someone, is to let yourself care about them, and all that does, is put them in danger. In my experience at least."

If PK's names were never drawn in the Reaping and they never became tributes in the Games, would their love still be enough to fan the flames of rebellion and revolution across the districts of Panem?

What If Katniss got taken by the capital instead of Peeta? This is a fanfic that takes place during the third book of The Hunger Games when the 75th hunger games has just ended and district twelve no longer exists. But, instead of Peeta being taken by the capital it is Katniss, and Peeta is left to stay at district 13. If you haven't read the hunger games trilogy or at least watched the movies, then you will be extremely confused. DISCLAIMER: This isn't my original idea!! AU, set in the current time "Hello." Prim walked back to the living room just in time to see the colour of Katniss' face fade away. She sensed something was terribly wrong. "I am leaving right now", Katniss said before ending the call and turning her horrified eyes to Prim. "Who was it?" Prim asked quietly. "The hospital", she said with an empty face, gripping her phone. "What? Why?" Prim asked eyes wide. "It's Peeta", she said. Her voice failed her and she swallowed before continuing. "He's been brought in. Some car accident. He's unconscious."

This is a new Everlark fanfic that is written by myself (@MyJLawAddiction) and ( @HopeMockingjay TheBraveMockingjay) We are writing alternate chapters, and this is our interpretations of Katniss dealing with the revolution once Peeta comes back. It is not supposed to be 100% accurate but it is keeping to the story!!
