A fanfic about the hunger games. Here's a taste: 16 years old. That's my age. 100th. That's the number of the hunger games this year. I never really understood why they got recontinued. After the death of the mocking jay, it seemed as if they weren't so bad. Katniss wasn't there anymore, with her scars and beloved husband to remind us of the terror she, and all other tributes had to face. At least that's what I've been told. I don't think it was about Katniss. Yes, she was the symbol of the revolution. The mocking jay. But revolutions are not just about the symbols. They are about memory and reason. I blame the capitol, and all the districts. They knew that after her death the silence would return. They knew that with silence, comes what we've been fearing. And that's why I am right now standing in a big crowd, scared to be selected for a tribute. ___ info: Peeta's second niece is getting elected as tribute. What will happen to her in the games? Will she be the new Katniss, the new mocking jay, the winner - or a loser?

Everyone knows about Katniss Everdeen, the girl on fire. But does anyone know what it was like for the boy with the bread? Here are some side tales, explanations for certain behaviour, and a descriptive story of The Hunger Games from Peeta Mellarks' perspective...

Peeta and Katniss meet for the first time when Katniss moves to his school. They almost instantly hate each other. When Peeta feels like there's nothing left for him, how will his attitude towards Katniss change...?

"I genuinely believed every word-" "I know you did," He smiled thoughtfully, "I've never heard you say a single thing that felt scripted. You always just- say what you want to. What you're thinking I've always enjoyed that about you." "Except I don't Finnick," Kaianna scoffed, "not always anyway." "And not right now." He corrected. "Not right now," Kaianna agreed. Her green eyes shined with an emotion that Finnick recognized immediately, from feeling it himself. They understood what each other were feeling, and exactly what was being said without words. Which was good, considering neither of them had the guts to say it out loud, "probably not ever." "That's not true." He smiled knowingly. "The point is," Kaianna dodged his belief easily, "my view on you is starting to change. I've been able to see you from a different perspective, and I never would've let that happen on my own." "I believe that." He chuckled. "Don't take it personally," She shrugged. When she looked in his eyes, she knew he somehow didn't understand where she was coming from, "everyone I've ever loved, has been stolen from me. To get to know someone, is to let yourself care about them, and all that does, is put them in danger. In my experience at least."

What If Katniss got taken by the capital instead of Peeta? This is a fanfic that takes place during the third book of The Hunger Games when the 75th hunger games has just ended and district twelve no longer exists. But, instead of Peeta being taken by the capital it is Katniss, and Peeta is left to stay at district 13. If you haven't read the hunger games trilogy or at least watched the movies, then you will be extremely confused. DISCLAIMER: This isn't my original idea!! Willow mellark is the daughter of katniss everdeen (now mellark) and peeta mellark AKA 'the star crossed lovers from district 12' but this is sixteen year old Willow's love story.

this is a fan fiction and it is after mockinjay. katniss and peeta go trough more trouble and some more memories and even a new generation.

This is a fanfiction of what happened immediately after Mockingjay. It follows 3 story lines: (1) the capital children aka tributes in the games, (2) Haymitch and his relationship with Effie, and his history, and (3) Katniss and Peeta as they fall in love all over again.
