After surviving the Games, Rye can now return home safely from the Capitol and the Games, before starting the cruel Victory Tour with her fellow tribute Cole. After everything that happened in the Games, Rye keeps reminding herself that it was all an act, but also attempts to at least bond with Cole, so they can make the story more believable. Especially when he reveals that their lives could be at stake if they don't succeed. As the tour ends, rumours are spreading around Panem as the second Quarter Quell is approaching. And then it is announced that the Games will require Rye and Cole to be back in the arena once again. Only this time, it's deadlier. (The Second book in The Mockingjay Games)

This fanfiction is set in the 74th hunger games, and is centred around a tribute from District 9. There are some familiar faces in the story, and its kind of a rewrite ig? Some stuff is still cannon though! I haven't read the books in years or seen the movies in a while and I'm trying to bang this out on my five hour train ride all in one, so it could be a little inaccurate and it will probably be quite short! Im just having some fun tbh, and trying to get back into writing bcs its acc really cool idc what anyone says. Freya Cresta is a normal girl from district 4 who is at the reaping for the 70th annual hunger games when her sister Annie gets reaped. What will she do when she is forced to go into the games and form a relationship with the infamous finnick odair?
