No one had even noticed that Peeta had regained consciousness. His words are directed towards Gale. "Our next move..." His voice holds emotion I can hardly stand to listen to. "is to kill me." *** During their invasion of the Capitol, Peeta sees himself during a hijacked episode, throwing Mitchell into a deadly pod during the Capitol broadcast announcing their supposed death. He begs the group to shoot him. Scene re-write in which they do. Uses certain paragraphs from the novel itself. Contains suicide. please leave comments!!

She is the most popular girl in school alongside her three best friends, Finnick Odair, Annie Cresta and Johanna Mason. When a new kid joins the school, she gets assigned to help the new student around. They immediately become friends and start to experience crazy things together. We see Katniss arrive in her own home in District 12 at the beginning of Mockingjay, but what about Peeta's house? Unsocial Katniss Everdeen meets friendly Peeta Mellark at a Christmas party.

Chances are, if you love The Hunger Games like I do, you know how Mockingly ends. This story takes place in the time following the end of Mockingjay's epilogue. Let's just say, may the odds be ever in their favor. Sorry for the mistakes and typos, I'm writing all of this on my phone. This is my first fanfic, so please keep that in mind, but still be true.

The somber mood is exclusive to those on the stage when the highlights of the Hunger Games begin to roll. As the lights dim, and Peeta takes a deep breath to steady himself, we both find ourselves wishing we were anywhere but here. The first thing we see is Effie pulling Prim's name out of the bowl, and then me volunteering. Peeta begins to tremble. I squeeze his hand harder, and I begin to quietly hum. My mother would actually have a heart attack if she heard me singing this on a Capitol stage, in front of all of Panem, but she can't hear me. "Are you, are you, Coming to the tree Where they strung up a man they say who murdered three Strange things did happen here No stranger would it be If we met at midnight in the hanging tree." I remember all the tears I poured over a guy. I remember all the yelling that led into a fight. I remember the guy with ashy blonde hair and ocean blue eyes... "I just want to be with him." I cry blowing into another tissue Katniss and Peeta are now in college and they are beginning to get closer and closer. What happens if they go in different directions, one thinks they're happy and the other cries with their back against the wall, one of them repeats this sentence over and over again, "I just want to be with you." The games are officially over now, or are they? Things seem perfectly fine now back in District 12. An official wedding being planned, Gale coming and going whenever, and two children growing up fast give Katniss and Peeta a lot to deal with. Kayla, Katniss's spontaneous daughter has a mind of her own and thinks she might have her eyes set on a mysterious boy, but Katniss has a wedding to plan. Is this new boy using Katniss's daughter to murder her mother, or has he been misjudged? Everything goes down hill the second the Girl on Fire walks down the aisle. Will it end in a pool of scarlet red, or will the Mockingjay finally have her happily ever after?

After the Games and the revolution, Panem has declared peace among its districts. Both living all alone in District 12, Katniss and Peeta have their therapist, Dr. Woods, to heal them from their trauma of the recent events and losses they had had. But throughout their numerous sessions of therapy with Dr. Woods, the star-crossed lovers would unmindfully fall hard for each other again. Emotions will be unravelled through words and comfort. With the help of Dr. Woods, who is also a secret fan of Peeta and Katniss during the Games, the two will be able to let go of their problems in life, realizing that they are in each other's arms all along.
