After the events of Mockingjay, Peeta and Katniss slowly grow closer as they try to navigate their new reality. They begin to learn a new way of loving eachother. Quick note! I might have mixed up some details or given them inaccurate characterizations. This is just my interpretation of what their lives and relationships might have looked like after Mockingjay!

Millie and the other kids in Panem live normal lives with no idea of the age before them. But when old memories come out people start to talk and Millie discovers secrets that her parents have been hiding from her her entire life.

This is a fanfiction based on a romance between Katniss Everdeen & Peeta Mellark. It is first set in the 75th hunger game's arena and is based on the book/film "Catching Fire". The events which happen in this fanfic are sometimes similar to the events which happen in Catching Fire (Only for the first 10 chapters or so) although the events do not happen in the same order and some are missed out because this is just a fanfiction written by me and not Suzanne Collins. hah. Katniss is just your average teenage girl. She loves music, lazing around and social media, so when a tragic accident happens, it changes her life around. She learns that, to get the rainbow, you must first experience the rain.

On the quiet morning of the reaping of the 49th annual Mockingjay Games, Rye Spirce doesn't expect anything amazing to occur. Coming from a rather wealthy family from the Seams of Section M, Rye suspects nothing. Until her name is called, and she is now a tribute. She is paired with Cole Mellark, the grandson of Katniss Everdeen-the leader of the Revolution-after volunteering for the place of his younger brother. In the Capitol, Rye soon realizes that she is the secondary character when creating her story before the Games, and that Cole has the spotlight. Now playing the part, Rye tries to use it to get an advantage as the Games approach and she is waiting for the gong to strike.

As soon as the arena exploded, I knew our plan had worked. All I needed to do now was find Katniss, Beetee, Finnick or Johanna. I saw a figure in the distance. "Johanna!" I called out to her. A hovercraft circled ahead. Haymitch and district 13 had seen us. We were going to live. "RUN!" Screamed Johanna. Confused I looked up. It wasn't district 13's. It was the Capitol's. Something stung the side of my head and I felt dizzy. I looked back and Johanna was on the ground, being picked up by the machine. We weren't going to make it, but in my heart I knew Katniss was going to be ok.
