Baahubali the 1000 crore collection movie has been the talk of even BBC. Many commented on the aspects of movie making, effects, acting etc I looked at the story. I am not in any position to comment on the great actors. THEY WERE AND ARE GREAT AND LEGENDS LIKE SATHYARAJ CANNOT BE EVALUATED BY ME. But as an avid reader and small time author let me evaluate the story and compare to the greatest story and epic ever Mahabharatha.... From a definite alignment to the great epic the twists that made this different by that genius Raja Mouli...

Baahubali picks up a Kaala Yantra that takes him into the future, to the moment of his death!

Mahabharatha is what I always compare every story to. The ultimate epic - the story to end all stories. So I did that with Baahubali also. Every character and events. Bijjala Deva the Dhritharashtra and Shakuni equivalent of Baahubali movies. Spite, complex, cunning, hatred, deceit and evil personified. The man who is responsible for creating another evil person - Bhalla. The hatred he has for his wife is what makes the character different from Dhritharashtra. The way he manipulates Kumara Verma and Kattappa is amazing The fate he suffers is different also

In which Mahishmati's soon to be King, Amarendra Baahubali finds himself in love with Kuntala Kingdom's Princess Devasena. How will the two become one? (More of an alternate universe) (These characters don't belong to me. The GIFs belong to their respective owners. I only own the new versions of the plot since those are my ideas)

Baahubali the magnum opus was larger than life. It was made so by the larger than life sets, story, direction and acting. Of course Baahubali, Bhallala Deva, Sivagaami, Devasena all remembers them. For me two characters stand out in the acting. Let me take them separately starting with Kattappa.
