Takes place after the Sumeru Archon quest. Al Haitham and kaveh were not together during this story. They both meet in the hospital and acquainted there Two men with heart conditions laid in their beds beside each other at the hospital. They soon started talking and giggling at each other, their soft smiles and glances making the atmosphere more delightful. Al Haitham and Kaveh couldn't keep their eyes off each other, and although their illnesses could never be ignored, they fell in love, finding comfort and peace in each other's company. Kaveh and Alhaitham have been roomates for almost 3 years at first they weren't able to stand each other's presence, but now they are getting used to each other. 3 months after living with Alhaitham, Kaveh started to fall in love with the man that he called his rival. However, he couldn't just tell him cause he knew that Alhaitham isn't focused on getting in a relationship right now. In fact, Kaveh didn't know if he was gay or not. But he wasn't going to let that stop him from his job as an architect at the Akademiya. He was afraid of how his roomate would react if he found out about his crush on him.

TW - References to eating disorders and suicide. Becoming roommates with Kaveh was a spur of the moment thing for one of the few times in his life Alhaitham readily let someone invade his well-kept space. It's also something he didn't really think through, more so done because of the respect that he felt for Kaveh and how wrong it looked to see him so pitiful in a tavern seat. The potential cons to his decision were an oversight on his part.
