It's the year 2028, and Maisie Lockwood is now a 20-year-old girl who, along with her group of friends, including her girlfriend Violet Moody and her best friend Fallon Durgray, faces a decadent world where dinosaurs are seen as cannon fodder or, in the worst case, sadistic monsters. She is supposed to forget that stage of her life where she lived such wild adventures, but tragedy forces her and her family to return to their old ways.
