"What does the word friendship mean to you?" he whispered to me, his breath was hot with anger. "Kazuo, you wouldn't understand! You never understand" I stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind me. "Where in the hell do you think you're going, Shiori?" he yelled at me, causing me to walk faster, I knew better than to turn around, facing him would make it worse. " Hu? Are you just going to run way again? Run away like you always do!?" Bearing the burden of rage, a feelings that over whelmed me I spun to face him. "I'm not running away!" the tears were already at the edges of my eyes. I tried to hold them in but the little bastards decided to make their own run for it, racing down my cheeks in streams. Kazuo's eyes widened at my tear, for I hardly ever cried. "You're just a big jerk! How could you possibly understand how I feel!? You've never lost anyone! You've never cared! Just..." my heart stopped, my mind called out to me to stop, but my mouth continued "I hate you, Kazuo! Just leave me alone!!" With that I turned and ran, ran faster than my body wanted to carry it's self. Trying to our run the demon of hatred is impossible, but I knew I couldn't stop. I couldn't stop and face the truth.

I am completely obsessed with the book Battle Royale by Koushun Takumi. I have decided to write a story following his book for fans like me. Kazuo Kiriyama is my favourite character, I dont know why. Do I feel sorry for him? Or is it because he's the only main character that we really don't hear at all from, making him mysterious? I dont know. Here I am going to write everything in his perspective (based on book not movie). I dont take credit for Koushun Takumi's ideas. Please enjoy!!!! :)

His jaw opens and closes a little bit. His eyes bore into me. They're large and round and completely accusing. His teeth are covered in bits of burnt muscle. I feel my heart thudding in my chest. He steps closer, closer. His bone gleams in the dim light. As he closes in on me, a pounding noise begins ringing through my ears. My heart beat- ba-dum. Ba-dum. Ba-dum. It looked like he had been tossed into a fryer, fried alive, and he had been. By me. I did this to someone. I killed someone's team mate, someone's son. I killed someone's important person. -- Kimiko Kioku, a memory keeper. Never forgets anything, always notices, from the exact way the wind blew her hair against her face to coloring with her brother at five to the lullaby her mother would sing to her as she rocked her when she was not even a year old.
