Two years after the events of Crooked Kingdom, Kaz receives a message from Inej: 'Coming back soon. Told you I wasn't done with Ketterdam.' Kaz is equal parts nervous and excited (not that he'd admit it), until an incident the night before she arrives leaves him with almost no memories of her, or himself, for that matter. When a beautiful girl seeks him out the next day, acting as if she knows him, Kaz is beyond confused. Inej desperately tries to figure out what happened, and how to get his memories back, while also trying to evade a strange enemy determined to end her life. ***DISCLAIMER*** these characters are not mine, they are by Leigh Bardugo!!! After finally claiming their Kruge, the crows go their different ways. Jesper and Wylan take over the Van Eck Empire, making it better than before, Nina goes back home to Ravaka to rebuild the Second Army, Inej goes to hunt down slavers often visiting Kaz, and finally Kaz is building his own empire. Life wasn't normal, per se, but it was right. So, of course they were unsuspecting of a few of our demigod friends dropping to to say hello and take them on a new mission. Annabeth and Percy were enjoying life, finally done with Junior year and during the summer they stayed at camp. They expected to finish high school and go to New Rome, of course that wasn't in the cards for them. Around mid-summer, they got a new prophecy and, with it, a whole new life threatening adventure. Will these demigods and thieves see eye to eye and collaborate to save the world once more, or will this time be the last of their lives?

What would Jordie think if his little brother died in some nameless alley because he couldn't conquer some stupid sickness inside him? What anyone think if Dirtyhands was bested by some nobody looking to make a quick buck? Another thought came less easily, but managed to mount icy fear and prickling hot shame more than any other, What would Inej think? She had said she wanted him without armor, and now that it had been ripped away, he was going to die. She would come back from her year at sea and find him long dead and gone. Would she care at all? What if she had let him go? No. She wouldn't do that. Inej had always believed in him. She trusted him, cared about him, and never, never gave up on him. Everyone else had, hadn't they? He had to survive the night. Even if it was only for the childish hope, the small, stupid hope that she might come back to him someday.

Nearly five weeks after the events of Crooked Kingdom, Inej has set sail in her new war ship leaving Kaz to figure out how to function without her, and Wylan and Jesper to keep him from doing something stupid. Only three days after her departure, a mysterious assassin appears seeking revenge on Inej, and Jesper is given a note with an offer for Inej. An offer to join an invisible guild of assassins. Follow the crows as they try to handle one last adventure, the shadows of their pasts, and their plans for the future. (A/N This is mostly a Kanej fanfic. A single-chapter story of Kaz and Inej commiting identity fraud. Kudos to my friend @CivilVagian for coming up with the idea and inspiring me to write and publish my very first crackfic :DD Enjoy this 3am brainrot.

Pekka Rollins has been dethroned, and Kaz must do his best to claim the title of King of The Barrel, but the competition is nearly as cunning as he is, and the ever-changing web of alliances in Ketterdam is already shifting, learning to operate without its late ruler. The monster of a city has a way of keeping one disoriented, new foes crop up and businesses collapse in the blink of an eye. Timing is key, but Kaz has underestimated just how crucial it is, and how hard it will be to gather information with his ex-Wraith flitting in and out of the city. Inej has her ship, and has reunited with her parents but everything is not quite so perfect as it seems. She didn't realize how hard it would be to see her parents again after everything she's been through. No longer an innocent child, she struggles to explain everything she's done. They understand what was survival, and there is no blame for her actions, but her parents recoil at her ideas of hunting down slavers, labeling it brash and foolish. Which it just may be, lacking a true foundation and plan. She can't simply go cavorting about the open sea and hope to find slavers. So she turns to Kaz, in the hopes of starting something new, to root out the worst of the worst, on the seas and in the city.

For those for whom the ending of Six of Crows was not enough. This is just a short idea, but I hope you will enjoy it. The characters are not mine, they are from Leigh Bardugo's books.
