After the evets of the game Kingdomcome: Deliverace 2, the lord and his bodyguard (allegedly) think all is well and only thing to worry is the upcoming wedding... BUT IS IT? A man in his youth craves challenges and adventures. Especially to those born into nobility, it feels as though the world is a playground and battlefield at the same time, full of dares and wonders waiting to be found. But when the age of maturity approaches, the weight of responsibility that comes with being a high-born will eventually reveal itself, crushing them under the pressure of reality. With the Suchdol Fortress successfully liberated from the siege by the Pragues, the young squire, once a humble blacksmith born and raised in the mining town of Skalitz, returns to his liege, the young Lord of Pirkstein, Hans Capon. The Almighty has blessed them with a reunion after the grueling month-long struggle; both emerged alive and pretty much unscathed to see each other again. Urged by desperation and a bleak expectation for their survival, the two had revealed their feelings for one another on the night before Henry's departure. But now that the relief and joy of being reunited has passed, what awaits them is uncertainty for the duty-bound future written for Hans since day he was born.

How does a person express their feelings for a dearly beloved? For Hans Capon, sweet words and gifts have always been his way to go when it comes to courtship. After all, have they not granted him success in many of his romantic endeavors in the past? When he first professed his love for Henry, however, it was on the night of a siege before his faithful squire departed on a dangerous mission with little to no chance of survival. Naturally, there was no time for a proper confession back then. But now that life is finally at peace once more, he decides that the opportunity has come for his noble heart to make itself known to dear Henry in a way he finds most suitable. <em>"Summer comes in the break of dawn most fine. For you, my love, behold these words and flowers, a sincerest gift of mine."</em>

He heard the bed creak, though he did not even deign to open his eyes. Peculiar for a man so watchful. But as all things; Zizka already knew. He laid upon his back, with his hands folded lightly across his stomach. Against his arm, he felt the gentle heat of another body. She'd be curled in a ball, no doubt. And rubbing her feet slow together like a cricket. That was her method of self-soothing. That, along with his presence, apparently. Zizka did not forsake her that. ~ Katherine always felt safe sleeping at Jan's side. He expects nothing of her, and the two of them have come to enjoy their nightly talks.

Leading immediately on from the siege of Suchdol, we follow Henry & Hans as they partake on a new, unexpected journey to find themselves. A natural continuation of #Hansry.
