When Sophie Foster, a skilled fourteen-year-old-girl, gets recruited to be in a spy organiztion called the Black Swan, she's all in. The Black Swan's mission is to stop the Neverseen, another organization that's purpose is to overthrow the government. Sophie uses her skills to help the Black Swan, but things take a turn when they find out that Lady Gisela, the mom of one of Sophie's spy friends, Keefe, is the leader of the Neverseen.

When she turns eighteen she is given a top-secret mission with her enemy Kensley. Old faces come along on the path, some not being that forgiving. Can Sophie complete the mission and defeat the ever-growing darkness, or will she perish just like the rest of her family? This is just a fairly random story, I guess you could call it a KOTLC fanfic - It starts out with two people that I made up - April and Caz (Alexander) - who are living their everyday lives in the city of Ember (a made-up city somewhere north of Europe) and accidentally discover a weird group of rebels (The Neverseen) who chase them 'to the ends of the earth' trying to recover something precious -- something that belongs to April. Along the way, the two meet Sophie Foster and friends, learn about the elves, and other plot stuff that you'll have to find out by reading this! (Sorry for the first few chapters - I kind of rushed into the story without a lot of background info/character development) I will probably edit some of the chapters as I go along, so I will mention that in the author's notes if people want to go back and read them again.

The Neverseen have finally been defeated, and Sophie is about to go back to Foxfire as a level four. Forkle is back to hiding things from her, though that's a pretty normal occurrence. Keefe is finally back home after being forced out of the forbidden cities. And Ro might finally get to see her ship sail. Of course only after the right amount of misunderstandings. □○□○□○□○□○□○□○□○□○□○□○□○□ Story info Will have mild swearing and mentions of mature themes, but not the themes themselves. Sophie, Dex, Tam, Linh, Biana, Marella, and Maruca are in level four Fitz and Keefe are in level 6. The Neverseen have been defeated And Keefe came back from the human world. He was staying in the same place they found him in the books. They found him before the final battle which took place 3 months before the beginning. All characters and the Elvin world belong to Sharon Messenger except for the characters that I created.
