Who knew ghosts were so weird? And dancey? And punny? And super, duper, expertly annoying? Let's hope Dex filing his nonexistent nails can cure Keefe of his moderate feelings of sadness. In which: -Dex Dizznee is a ghost, but he's taking it to a whole new level of annoying -Keefe Sencen is the only one who can see, feel, or hear Dex and it's driving him even more insane -Kesler is a great dad to Keefe but also has no idea Dex is giving him tips to get on his parent's good side. Let alone that his son is in the room. -Ro knows Keefe lost it a while ago, so really she isn't fazed. -Lovise, meanwhile, is fazed. -The Squad (TM) literally just thinks Keefe is crazy. Mad as a hatter, if you will. Off his rocker. Gone around the bend. Lost his marbles. Might be on drugs. --All they know is that he's whispering to the corner (for no visible reason). And glaring at the wall (for no visible reason). And looking very much like he wants to beat said wall senseless (for no visible reason). Just a few years back, anyone could tell you that Dex Dizznee was going places; a genius in the ways of science and technology set to graduate a year ahead and coast through college like a breeze. No one excepted it when the teen seemed to have disappeared off the face of the Earth (or at least, the face of the school). His few friends wouldn't spill on where he went and Dex himself would rather die before giving his former classmates the story. He hardly knew how he got into this messy situation in the first place and it was still a mystery how it was keeping him and his siblings afloat. The question is, how will things continue when a particular mischievous, hair-conscious boy gets thrown into the fray? Ok, so we're doing a kotlc stripper AU because why the hell not? I've noticed that there's a shortage of long fics and spiciness in this ship's fanfic library, so I decided to fill that void. In all honesty, this thing is very self-indulgent and I just hope someone finds it entertaining as well.

This book is discontinued so I won't be updating If you see this book you probably like kotlc. If that is the case then you probably know of Dex. If you like Dex, read this. Dex couldn't tell if he wanted to kiss Keefe, or suffocate him with his own stupidity. -- Keefe brings Dex out on a double date he was asked to, but - ah - things don't exactly go as planned... and now they're famous.

How could one night set everything swirling? The butterflies are swarming in everyone's stomach. One not-so-innocent game makes everybody reconsider everything. Everything. What if those teal eyes that grace Sophie's dreams aren't Fitz's? What if Keefe needs a different person to fix what is broken? What if fire and water can be together? When a prank on Dame Alina goes sideways, Keefe does the only thing he can think of to get him and Dex out of a bad situation. A sequence of misunderstandings, messy situations, and stumbling confessions follow the incident, forcing Keefe and Dex to re-evaluate what love and friendship mean to them. Basically, I thought the Keeper of the Lost Cities tag needed more Keefex so I wrote my own. Disclaimer: This story is set around the time of the first and second books and doesn't follow the exact plot of original series. I'm just having fun with Shannon's characters

"He was a bit concerned that his one and only son hasn't picked up a match list after being registered for a few years. Y'know, people talk and all that." Keefe started. Dex rolled his eyes. He didn't bother to sign up for matchmaking in the first place and Keefe found himself really wishing he did the same. "That's his problem? You got me worried there." "No need. He thought the best course of action was to sit me down for one of our many father-son heart to hearts and he gave me a little choice." Dex looked over, eyelids still trying to blink away the last traces of sleep, signalling him to go on. "He said that I could move out." The sleepiness finally retreated from his gaze. "That's great, but there's a catch, right?" He knows Keefe too well, really. "He'd only do that if I picked up a list and held a Winnowing's Gala." (Keefe is forced to back into matchmaking shenanigans and the rest of the crew will not stand for it.)
