Suddenly Dex is questioning his sexuality after he has a dream about kissing someone. And now he's in a state of being flustered, confused, and dismisses any sort of hope that there could be any reciprocated feelings. After all, Keefe Sencen was straight and liked Sophie. ... Right?

The noise started just before dawn when the surrounding farmers woke up to tend to their livestock. Animals braying in the fields filled the dimly lit hills, acting as a baseline for the loud morning to come. Next would come the baker and then the blacksmith and only then would other shops begin to open. Dex tapped a stick of charcoal on the edge of his notebook. He'd head into town around that time, dropping off a few of his parents' remedies, picking up more chicken feed, and checking on Monsieur Elwin's backdoor hinges. They always seem to creak around this time of year and the older man couldn't quite reach the upper ones by himself. Maybe he'd lend Dex some of his alchemy papers... (I return from the grave with a Keefex Beauty and the Beast AU in which I thought way too hard about the worldbuilding.)

~Dex Dizznee is a gay elf in a land of prejudice. Just another bad thing to come his way. His father is Talentless, his parents are a bad match, his siblings are triplets. Everyone thought he was going to be Talentless, but he turned the tides by manifesting as a Technopath. Things were looking up for him. Then he was tricked into making weapons and a circlet to restrict abilities and once again, he was an outcast. In a world where people live forever, one mistake can ruin you forever, being gay will only ruin him further. But he is ready to fight for what he thinks is right with Keefe on his side. ~Keefe Sencen is a bisexual elf. He thought maybe he could choose, but once he met Dex, he was all he could think about. With a mother in an evil organization and a father that has been a lot less kind then how fathers should be. He's always been a disappointment to his dad but now that he's been dating a boy, he'll just be even more of an embarrassment. But, with his boyfriend by his side, he's ready to fight and take a stand against his father, his mother and anyone else who doesn't agree with them. "He was a bit concerned that his one and only son hasn't picked up a match list after being registered for a few years. Y'know, people talk and all that." Keefe started. Dex rolled his eyes. He didn't bother to sign up for matchmaking in the first place and Keefe found himself really wishing he did the same. "That's his problem? You got me worried there." "No need. He thought the best course of action was to sit me down for one of our many father-son heart to hearts and he gave me a little choice." Dex looked over, eyelids still trying to blink away the last traces of sleep, signalling him to go on. "He said that I could move out." The sleepiness finally retreated from his gaze. "That's great, but there's a catch, right?" He knows Keefe too well, really. "He'd only do that if I picked up a list and held a Winnowing's Gala." (Keefe is forced to back into matchmaking shenanigans and the rest of the crew will not stand for it.)

Keefe has fucked up. No, he's really, really done it this time. He told Lady Belva - who's known to be unable to keep her mouth shut - that he's seeing someone. And then he gave that someone a name. Dex Dizznee. Only thing is, it was all a lie. So what are the two boys supposed to do when she lets the information leak?

This story is UNFINISHED and will not be completed (I'm sorry) this is my first actual story that isn't oneshots so please be nice! Might be a little OOC There will be no smut 😊 Updates may be slow so maybe just put this book in your library and wait?

Why the heck am I here, Dex questioned himself from his side of the room. Who on this whole forsaken Council thought it was a good idea to bring a nervous technology train wreck into the nobility, let alone to a very important inter-species meeting? They already tried that with Sophie, and it clearly didn't go very well. I mostly wrote this to outline one of my many headcanons and show some love for my favorite kotlc ship. For reference, this is roughly set after Legacy when some treaties would need to rewritten and our boys just need a break.

Hello! This is a collection of oneshots that take place in the universe of my kotlc royalty au: Royal Screw-Ups. Alas, you have to read RSU to know what's happening in this, but no worries because it's also right here on my Wattpad. Currently there are three planned parts, and the universe of RSU was planned out before Unlocked, so this is spoiler free.

A KotLC Human Keefex AU. Keefe has just started working for M.O.O.N.L.A.R.K., a top secret organization devoted to protecting the world. He has been assigned to the scatterbrained, creative, and way-too-cute scientist, Professor Dizznee. As his bodyguard, Keefe will assist him in stopping a freak storm that roams their world, seemingly hellbent on destroying humanity.

Just a few years back, anyone could tell you that Dex Dizznee was going places; a genius in the ways of science and technology set to graduate a year ahead and coast through college like a breeze. No one excepted it when the teen seemed to have disappeared off the face of the Earth (or at least, the face of the school). His few friends wouldn't spill on where he went and Dex himself would rather die before giving his former classmates the story. He hardly knew how he got into this messy situation in the first place and it was still a mystery how it was keeping him and his siblings afloat. The question is, how will things continue when a particular mischievous, hair-conscious boy gets thrown into the fray? Ok, so we're doing a kotlc stripper AU because why the hell not? I've noticed that there's a shortage of long fics and spiciness in this ship's fanfic library, so I decided to fill that void. In all honesty, this thing is very self-indulgent and I just hope someone finds it entertaining as well.
