~Keefe Sencen x Reader~ Human! Musical! AU For the first time in fifty years, Foxfire Preparatory Academy is putting on a musical! And what better musical to perform than Hadestown? Watch as the KotLC gang- and you!- get ready for the performance of a lifetime. Fair warning! I am writing this mostly for myself and will be making it VERY cliche! 🤷🏼‍♀️ if you don't like that you don't have to read it. DISCLAIMER: I don't own Keeper of the Lost Cities or Hadestown- both go to their respective creators. I just made up the plot.

The story revolves around the main character, who is Biana's twin sister, and her interactions with various characters like Keefe, Fitz, and Alvar. The main character experiences moments of playful banter and flirting with Keefe, causing her to feel conflicted about her emotions. Additionally, there are hints of a blossoming romance between Alvar and Liora. The story also introduces Counselor Kendric, who takes an interest in the main character's abilities as a Guster.

The premise of the book is possibly a slow burn with some side ships;; Y/N has a few similar abilities to Sophie, but by their words "they aren't nearly as cool.", as they don't have telepathic powers or anything like that. Their just an ordinary human. But are they?... Why do the councilors seem to have such trouble with them? Y/n is gender neutral and doesn't really care for dating. But you know what they say,,... One falls first, the other falls harder;) The cover is a piece of art from evaaadelina_ on ig. this artist has drawn many other characters, I recommend you go check em out!! credit to "sarcastickitty9" for the idea, I wouldn't have made this book otherwise! all the plotline is very different, though. But I mainly wanted to give credit because Keefe is actually one of my favorite characters, but I still wouldn't have thought about making a Keefe x reader book. Anyway, I feel like it's a no brainer that there won't be smut... Their children.

EXCERPT- Lady Gisela stood there. She knew she had me under control, but I didn't want her to. But I could always join him. I look over at the other side of the dark cave that's covered in a dusty green powder that gives me the creeps. There was a guy. Blonde hair that looks like it would take forever to do and his eyes, how do I describe his eyes? They were the coldest shade of blue, yet they held the most warmth I'd ever seen. "Please, please don't join them Y/N, please." He held out a hand as his eyes somehow turned even warmer. Lady Gislea laughed bitterly. "That's my Y/N for you, always choosing the wrong side." The elf whipped his head around and stalked closer to Lady Gisela. I wanted to reach out, to grab his hand to stop him and tell him that it was too dangerous, but I couldn't. He was already too close. "She's on the right side if she chooses us and she knows it very well." His voice was low, and icy. I shivered a bit just listening to it. Lady Gisela glared at him. "Watch your tone Keefe, I'm still your mother." That took me by surprise. His...mother? Suddenly I could see the family resemblance. The hair, the eyes, although her eyes were as icy as their name. The elf, or I guess I should call him Keefe, clenched his hands into fists and took deep breaths, trying to calm himself from yelling at Gisela. He then gritted his teeth and spat out, "If you were my mother you wouldn't be doing this." Gisela opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted by a scream. Her eyes widened and she dashed out of there as fast as she could. Keefe's tensed up body relaxed and he turned to me, a smile appearing on his features, although it looked slightly forced. He lent me his hand again and this time I took it. His hand was soft, yet slightly calloused. I didn't want to know what he did to get calluses, but it didn't seem very friendly.

It's a Keefe x reader, you're part of the Neverseen, has swearing because writing clean stories got kinda boring lol, choose your own pronouns.
