(SPOILERS for books 1-8.5) Sophie lost her memory due to a battle with the Neverseen, and is now back living with the humans with a series case of amnesia. Her friends are trying to reach out to her to help bring her back, but meanwhile Keefe thinks that Sophie is trying to find him after he ran away from the Lost Cities. The Black Swan is in a rush trying to figure out what to do, yet Sophie no longer knows who to trust. (All characters and original ideas of Keeper of the Lost Cities belongs to Shannon Messanger)

In which famous vampire hunter Tam Song is turned into a vampire by the vampire lord, Keefe Sencen, unbeknownst to his sister Linh, who is under the impression that he has died. Linh plans to kill the vampire lord, along with her new partner-in-crime, Sophie Foster, in order to avenge her brother's supposed murder.
