On your seventeenth birthday, you have the option to go to a Soulmate Centre and get the serum injected into your body. Cassius Sencen, the mastermind behind it all, was labeled a genius. Keefe Sencen turns seventeen in eleven days. Because his father was this famous person who invented an insane serum, they moved around a lot. Australia, Italy, France, Mexico, Qatar, Canada, and more. A whole lot of US States, too. After two years in Italy, they moved to Los Angeles. For good, his father told him. Keefe expected Hollywood celebrities and the usual galas slash interviews. Little did he know, a brown eyed girl called Sophie, was going to change his life. Elowen is 16 years old. One day when her parents have left for a week for their anniversary, she follows a suspicious group of kids her age, lead by a blonde girl with golden brown eyes. She tags along as they disappear from New York, where she lives, and onto the grounds of a huge estate with a arch that has "Havenfield" written on it. She soon finds herself following a man-as the blonde girl called him, Mr. Forkle-and learns about Shades. Shades are people-elves-who posses the ability to manipulate shadows. She finally reveals herself to Mr. Forkle and learns that she is in fact a Shade, and no less an elf. She must leave her family, and though she knows she will miss them, she knows that it's better for her and them if she leaves.

(yes the spelling was intentional) also, I don't know if anyone else out there ships this but if you do, I'm with you.Sophie and her friends have defeated the neverseen and as a reward, they all go to the forbidden cities with Keefe's dads crystal and chaos ensues. Some Sokeefe,Marelinh, Fitz being all alone, but he's not an asshole. Now back to the plot, they take a random facet and they end up in Acadia, Maine. They book a cabin and they stay for a week and the rest, well, you have to read to find out the rest.

Sometimes, love can be a nightmare. Once Fitz finds out some things, he gets angry at Sophie. With the help of her friends, including an elf with incredible patience and tolerance for Sophie's obliviousness, maybe Sophie will be able to wake up from this nightmare. A story about Sophie, keefe, and Fitz! It takes place before Keefe gets his new mind control powers, and before Sophie and Fitz break up. Note: Fitz's anger is a bit more pronounced than in the books. Note: Sophie does get hit in this, so... Note: I wrote this when I was younger, and my writing style does change a little.
