The Notebook is about, a young 12 year old girl named Allie Michaels. Allie just moved to Miami, Florida because of family problems but she doesn't know about them yet. It's October of 2010, and she needs to start 7th grade here, that means new friends. Kids at her new school don't really like her, and they make fun of her. Stepping out into the airport, they are quickly ushered into a limo, but it is the wrong limo. Instead of their hotel, they are driven to a house on the outskirts of Auckland, where they are hidden in a basement. Will they ever get out? Will they find love? Will three very special girls change their worlds forever? And after it all, will friendships formed, in dark basements, carry over to the real world?
