Keepsake Stories

I don't know what this will be yet. Just some random stories complimenting my other AUs. It is probably very random, and not very good. Also if you're new here I recommend to read my two previous works. A lot of stuff will make a whole lot more sense. Alright, that's all. See ya!

To be in someone's leather fold, a keepsake along with an old receipt is enough to stir a tempest of emotions. It eludes the heart of the owners, tells a story of its presence. But what if it tells a different story, a story one didn't expect? Evelyn Soleil Cantrell thought that it was peculiar to turn her love for Nicholas Argus Callahan into a keepsake in her wallet when she figured she couldn't have him. In her mind, it was enough to be on his side, hoping that in time she could grow into him. But what if someone enters the frame? That's the question that haunts her breath, she just couldn't stay silent, not after years of muted affection for him, not when her heart is burning in a golden hue of shared sunsents for him. She can't just fade into the background. She swore that she will fight for what she's worth. But is love truly enough? Or will she just become a fading sunset-a romantic background for the one she will fight her love for?

Who was Boss before he became the Boss of the Underworld office. Actually no. Scratch that. How did Underworld office came to be? So this is a bit of a thing. It will be sort of prequel to everything. About Boss, and other ghosts and how they came to the Office. I would say it's a character study of Boss, because he is the center of this story. Also it might be slightly OOC but I'll try not to. There will be some Boss & River shenanigans. As always no romantic ships, everything is purely platonic.
