She loved the sea, and loved exploring it. She never went towards the surface (except to watch sunsets), because she didn't take much care to it. However, one day, fishers can to the city of Atlantis, and their nets ended up right on top of it! 😱. It endangered the city, and forced everyone to leave. However, this only made it worse, as there was nowhere to sleep at night, and predators took advantage of that. 😔 So, it forced the very last few of the mermaids and mermen (sirens, whatever you wanna call 'em.) onto land. Fortunately, they can shift into humans for a few days at a time before needing to go back to a salt water source for at least a one hour swim. And luckily, their leader had the power to make fake liscensing for them (don't ask how, it just works that way 😅) so they wouldn't be suspecting. And so, until further notice, Y/N and the rest went into the world, (not far from the ocean).
