Hawaiian folklore. An ancient spirt fed horrifically through the carnage of humans. The keiki lives among feral cats taking the form of a feline or child. Once fed in the jungles gulled koa and explorers into crimson fates, now forced into the growing society where no one is safe.

It's been twenty years; and Yoko leads her kingdom to peace. One day she tells her Kieran, Keiki, that she's going to Hourai, Japan, for a couple of days under the pretense of getting closure from her parents that she never got. But, in reality she goes undercover to reunite the twelve kingdoms with their lost Taiki. Note: the Taiki arc never happened. So Reisa never comes to Kei to ask Yoko for help in searching for Taiki. This is an AU.
