Keith stared down at the water. It was late at night. The water wasn't as bright as Lance's eyes were, are and will be, when he's looking at his fiance, Sara. The eyes of who he loved for years. Keith has been protected from everyone, and everything all his life. Never being allowed to leave his padded home, being home schooled, until he meets his new neighbor, Lance, and things start to look up. Leaving his home, with Lance by his side. Nightmares keep us all awake at night, causing us to sweat and swear. Cursing ourselves out for thinking it was real, it felt so real. ~~~ Just a bunch of short stories about what the Paladins have nightmares about ~~~ Lots of angst (obviously) ~~~ Warnings for gore and other stuff (I'll put more specific stuff at the beginning of each) ~~~ I have at least five parts planned and maybe seven if I get ideas for the Alteans

Lance had always had it rough. However, there's one thing keeping him going. One reason he won't give up. He knows that one day, weather it be soon or far in the future, staying alive will be worth it. All he needs is....

Keith is hurt on a mission and only pidge knows. The team expect him to be on the top of the game and he struggles to make it up to their expectations. then a mission goes wrong and the Voltron paladins are captured by an enemy tribe who know the Keith is hurt. they use this to get information. information from him and from the other paladins. but now their back on the ship, with complicated feelings and a week of Lance and Keith restricted to the same couch. what could go wrong, or more, what could go right? Keith had always been a quiet boy, always labeled as 'the loner' or 'emo' due to his silent tendencies. Looking through the crowd, Keith would just be another face begging for attention. Dark clothes, long hair, always wearing headphones, and deaf to the world around him. Keith is just another guy, a meaningless face in the crowd. Due to being so silent, almost hostile at times, no one- scratch that. Shiro knows about his dreams. No not just his dreams to go to, but his literal dreams. Keith wasn't someone that you'd call 'a dreamer', but he had strange dreams. They were so vivid, that he'd almost call them memories. He didn't tell Shiro about all of his 'dreams', but he told Shiro of what he could. In his dreams, there were four others, no- six others most of the time, but only one stood out mire than the other is faces. It was a boy that Keith swore he could never make up with his own imagination. Tan, brown skin that had to be natural, but must've come from many days in the sun, mocha brown hair that had the slightest bit of length in the back, dazzling blue eyes that Keith swore had the essence of the ocean, and he was lanky, almost as tall as Shiro. Keith had developed a bit of a crush on this boy that appeared in his dreams. Not that he'd ever tell Shiro, but.. he had a feeling that his brother knew. But, even in his dreams, Keith was ignored. Just like everyone else. Well, everyone that wasn't Matt or Shiro. So Keith could only let it be in his dreams. It was just his subconscious trying to comfort him in his loneliness, right? That's what Keith had convinced himself for the past two years as he went into his Junior year of high school. He started the year off as normal: alone, silent, and somewhat aggressive. Until, about halfway through the year, it seemed that most of his classes had gained a new face, one that Keith knew all too well. It couldn't be the same boy, could it? *** Disclaimer: I do not own Voltron: Legendary Defender.

*spoilers* Pain and fear. The only thing Keith felt, the only things he was allowed to feel in his first years of life. But, Keith was given the blessings of ignorance to help save him from memories soaked in hatred. He has lived his whole life unknowing of what he used to be, but, one dream has sparked the curiosity that would inspire him to pursue the memories he once had and had "mysteriously" gone missing. His Galra heritage finally comes to light, and he finally has the opportunity to search for his mother. Galra marking force him into action, and an adventure he'd never forget. Being in the Blade of Marmora only spark his interest further, and opened doors never opened before, but his separation from Voltron may have life ending effects when he is kidnapped on mission. Will Keith ever find his mother? Or will he be forever trapped in the deep unknowing?

Keith is the smallest lone wolf you'll ever meet! standing at 5'2 he matches pidge in height and academics. Though he'll often admit she excels at the latter. He might be a grade ahead but foolish, foolish, him fell in love. That wasnt his intention at all... Lance is the loudest mouth at high school you'd ever have the honor of running into! Swim team meets make him mostly unavailable... but he'd so clear his schedule for his not so little crush! that's right lance is a stupidly smart idiot that only has the capacity to think of "GOSHOUDOUDOUDYDGGOGIF7E7E6EG8HOHBCEYOKNAINIB" ~Please enjoy this Klance Highschool AU~ IMPORTANT INFO- Triggers-Mental abuse, Physical abuse, Emotional abuse. Specifically-Suicide, Self Harming/Scars,Sexual Harrasment, Bullying, Swearing, Parental Unit is a Piece of shit. -All triggers will be listed at beginning of each chapter due to the request that I do so. -I do not update frequently but if you ask me to update I will probably do it soon after. -I go back to previous chapters to change wording, fix typos, little things like that. Major plot changes do not occur/occur very rarely. I will let people know if a plot change occurs. -Certain chapters can be skipped as they are for dramatic effect, those chapters are usually the ones with heavy detailing in the triggers.

The war was over. The Empire has been destroyed, but not all of it is gone. So what happens when the Paladins begin to drift apart, when Keith becomes isolated from the family he thought he had found? What happens when Keith builds a new home?
