Last summer Shiro's life changed, but not in a way he or Adam expected. Disclaimer - I don't own Neopets. This was written for one of the prompts for Last Summer Conest Collab over on Wattpad. I'm going to try to write at least one story per prompt before August 15th for the fun of it. This one is written for LGBTQIAP+'s prompt and needed to be 1.5-3k.

Keith's worst experience in life comes back to haunt him when the paladins take a leave from the Castle of Lions only to find themselves stuck performing a mission for the garrison involving four runaway kids. The fact the Galra recaptured Shiro did not help either. Disclaimer - I don't own Voltron: Legendary Defender or Boxcar Children. This is written for my 2017 prompt challenge for prompt number 182, which involves crossing over ones fandom of choice with a fandom from the 1940s. The fanfic is AU for the Boxcar Children series both in time, and how the events end in the first book. Keith does something stupid in this one.

The story takes place after Keith leaves the team, but before he comes back. Note: Keith says Shiro is his brother in the canon material. Whether they are biological siblings or not doesn't matter - what matters is Keith considers Shiro his brother.

Ah yes, one of my favorite ships in Voltron Legendary defenders,Klance. During a mission, Pidge noticed something off about Lance he was quiet and didn't say anything nor be onto his flirty personality and stuff. As, she knew something was definitely wrong with Lance as months and weeks past by it was the same thing Lance didn't say anything and Pidge knew it had something to do with Keith and missing home his family. As Pidge knew Keith had feeling for Lance but since Lance kept flirting with girls, Keith never confessed not since he left to go on mission with The Blade Of Mamora(BOM), so Pidge at one night contacts Keith in her room as she and Keith chatted for awhile and Pidge explained the situation about Lance to Keith. That's when Keith told Pidge he'll ask Kolvin if he could visit Lance and the others and to tell Shiro about the situation however, he'll do it secret so Allura doesn't know since he doesn't want Allura to know he will be coming for reasons which Pidge agreed and went with the plan they did Pidge told Coran, Shiro and Hunk what's going on minus Lance and Allura as they agreed to help. A couple of days later Keith arrived one night and great the others secretly as they had smuggled Keith onto the castle ship however, Keith had to stay low so, he stay in Shiro room for most time being as in one night Keith watch Lance from the vent dragged his blanket and rubbing his puffy eyes as if Lance was crying and Pidge was right about Lance statues as Keith could also hear Lance muffling. Lance went to the bridge and sit down staring out the window into space and the stars with a blanket wrapped around him as Keith slowly and quietly without making any sound went towards Lance and sitting next to him. As Lance looked to see who it was he was gonna shout but Keith covered his mouth and took off the mask to reveal himself as it had surprise Lance that Keith was there with him and also feeling bad he could see his face ing terrible and puffy Continues

The first meeting of Keith's parents occurs in Atlantis, a sanctuary for Galra and Altean taking refuge from the war. Disclaimer - I don't own Voltron: Legendary Defender. Since Keith's parents don't have names in the canon yet, I used the names Hiroshi and Kyra for them. When I saw the Atlantis theme, I thought to myself - what if some of the Alteans survived and have been on Earth this entire time. Some Galra are with them as well, but someone everyone things is dead isn't. Also, I avoided describing Keith's mother as she has not physically appeared in the series like his father has. Samuel Holt also makes an appearance

One never knows which way the wind will blow regarding ones luck, but Shiro feels quite lucky after the other paladins find him. In fact, his luck seems to pay off for Pidge as they locate one of her family members. Disclaimer - I don't own Voltron - Legendary Defender. This is written for the Fanfic Friday contest Lucky FriYay. I picked Takashi Shirogane, or Shiro. For those not familiar with the series, V:LD is about "five unsuspecting teens" who find themselves piloting Voltron, the one thing which can defeat Zarkon. Shiro is "wise beyond his years", acting as both leader and parental/mentor figure to the other four teens, something he was already doing for Keith prior to the failed Kerberos mission. Shiro is normally calm and collected, but suffers from PTSD episodes due to his time as a Galra prisoner. The character Slav also breaks this calm demeanor with his own paranoia and OCD issues involving alternate realities. Also, while he is normally positive in attitude, he has a darker side to his personality. As such his bucket list of things he would like to use his good luck for is at times dark, sarcastic, repetitive at times and also containing things he hopes he knows will eventually happen, but isn't looking forward to. It's a way to let off a bit of steam, but also a reflection of his own personal anxieties. This includes getting used to the fact he was gone for a year and not necessarily realizing every single way that Keith's grown up. For the story, I picked finding one of Pidge's family member as this was the one point on his list I felt I could do without touching upon the others excluding Shiro's things he hopes he'll never have the good luck of never having to deal with. The title comes from the fact Shiro's last name of Shirogane means silver in Japanese, but also the following quote. "The Sun doesn't just hang on one family's tree." Anchee Min, Empress Orchid.

Y/N was made in a lab. Her father was the scientist that created her. She was sent off into space but captured by the galra. Does she know of voltron or is she reserved and pretty much a loner I do not own Voltron or the characters. I will have one of my own characters in the story named Takashi. I hope you enjoy it

My mind then jumped to Keith, whose been vented more than once in canon, and I found myself wondering - what if those times weren't the first time? Add in an attack by the Galra, I had my story.
