keith is a young adult, college drop-out. he's also never had his first kiss before, and only been to one party in his life. one day, his friends nyma and rolo invite him to a house party, he decides to go. he meets a boy named lance, just to fall for him and later learn he has a girlfriend. with the help of his friends shiro and adam, they get close. but just as friends. or, maybe more. he hopes so.

A Klance AU in which the gang is in college, and Lance proposes a road trip for spring break!

(Klance )so this is about Lance and Keith running away together because a group of drunk teens thought they tried to kill a girl. I'm wanting this to be a fluff and Lance and Keith bonding cuteness, I might continue the story if anyone reads it. this is a au where the characters are in high school, but just to let you know, the others (shiro, pidge, and hunk) aren't really in the story just mentioned. so hope you enjoy.

insomnia noun, habitual sleeplessness; the inability to sleep. Lance knew this definition all too well, it was him every night, every damn night. It was the same routine, after dinner everyone would say their 'goodnights' and part ways to their rooms. Lance would get in his pajamas, plug in his headphones to whatever space iPod Pidge made the group, and stare at the ceiling, well at least until he knew for sure that the others were asleep. He would wait until he was sure the others were asleep before going out to the main deck and watch the little stars dance. Thinking about little trivial things, some nights it was the beach in his hometown, and other times it was his mere existence that bothered him. Whatever it was, he was tired of it, but didn't want to bother anyone with his problem. No one knew, well except for one 'night', when lance thought that everyone was asleep, one person was training late.

"I-I'm fine, Keith. I swear." Lance said, turning to walk away from the pale boy. Tears gathered in the corners of his eyes as he took his first step away. "Lance, you're not fine. Please tell me just-" Keith was cut off by Lance's sudden choking. He ran over to help his friend and patted him hard on the back. Lance turned away from Keith, blood and petals around his mouth while a rose sat in his palm. "Lance, please." Keith begged, pulling Lance by his shoulder to face him. Keith was speechless. Lance McClain. Voltron High School"s cute nerd bisexual who was friends with almost everyone. Although he talked too much, he still got good grades and had a beautiful warm smile. Keith Kogane. Voltron High Schools closeted gay who's only out to his close friends. Keith isn't a very social person and can't make friends that well. He sits quietly in class and gets high marks on tests. Lance is dating Nyma. Everyone says she's bad for him and one day he'll realise that. The day he falls for Keith.

(Post season 1 pre season 2.) Keith is conflicted about his identity and seeks help from his fellow paladin, Pidge. But things don't go the way he thinks they will. For better or for worse, will things end badly for Keith's friendship with Pidge or will he be able to fix what he has broken?

What was supposed to be a simple night in her dorm became a mostly one-way trip to space for Anya. All because her brother asked her to help the team "bond". Well, they're bonding alright---in space, fighting an alien war because they stumbled across an alien warship of a lion. Of course this is how she ends up spending the last of her teenage years. ********* "Hey," Keith called, and I looked at him. "You good?" I nodded, taking a deep breath. "Fine. Why?" He shrugged, and I noticed he'd put his knife up. "You look paler," he said, standing. "Than the last time we saw each other, I mean." "You mean when you and Griffin got into that fight right before you dropped out?" I raised my eyebrow at him, crossing my arms. "He's still mad about that one, you know." "Eh, that doesn't surprise me," he said, matching my stance. "Between his ego and his ego, I wouldn't have expected much else. Since when did you call him Griffin?" "Does that really matter?" He considered it a moment, then shook his head. "I guess not. We've got bigger things to worry about, anyway." I nodded, looking toward the sunrise. Shiro had woken up a little while ago, and now he stood on the cliff, watching as the sun rose. After so long in space, I didn't blame him. I'd probably take my time to enjoy that view, too, if I were him. Could never get sick of it. "You should talk to him," I said, looking at Keith. "Make sure he's okay." He nodded, walking away. (During this AU they find out Lotor is evil a few months before they defeat him.) With lots of laughter, love wandering around, new dangers to fight, and a family to protect, the paladins take the overprotectiveness for Pidge too series. In the end, Pidge is captured and taken to the emperor. Months later reunited with her space family, she recovers--! Slowly, with the help of her friends, family, brother and most importantly technology. The universe depends on the paladins of Voltron. They are warriors ready to fight! Going on missions and solving problems! Because Voltron is the Legendary Defender of the Universe. . . . I'm into all the ships of the show. And I respect each one if them. Here's the story though: Keith is a socially anxious witch who makes a living selling potions. He lives in the woods with his familiar, Kosmo who delivers most of his potions and does his errands. His parents are dead and he was raised by Shiro and Adam. He's 18 when the story starts. Lance is a sickly farmer's son. He has something like CF where he's more likely to get badly sick. Keith's potions saved his life about a year before the story starts. Ever since, his family has been super close to Keith but they've never officially met. He's really interested in magic and wishes he could practice it but since he's a human, he can't do it naturally. He's 17 when the story starts.
