Does Keith stay with all he's ever known or will he change, gain a team, a family? A fanfic about Galra!Keith who grew up in the Galra Empire and ends up meeting a certain paladin who surprises Keith in every way. Modern Au! After both of Keith's past experiences with love they were both very iffy about everything love related. But once Lance falls he panics because he wonders if he really can be in a relationship again? Even after he got his heart broken. Keith ended up faller harder and faster those feelings were new to Keith since after all he's never experienced love like the love and warmth felt for Lance. Maybe they really can be in love.

this is a rewrite of an old story of mine. it has the same title, and I decided I wanted a more detailed story line. my original was rushed, undetailed, and flawed.(Not saying this wont be oops) this is klance, but no smutt, this is a work safe story folks, but gore warning? *Just to clear up the confusion, lotor is not half altean in this au* lance is an altean, and keith is galra, altean, and human. his mother is galra and altean, while his father was human. lance is a special type of altean, almost artificial. he has the rarest power since it is completely unique. he was water, and lightning powers. alteans normally only have water, ice, OR earth powers due to their peaceful tendencies. (No fire or lightning etc.) But, they are apparent on EXTREMLY rare occasuons.He got them from allura, who used her power to save him from a deadly disease when he wasnt even born yet. Keith was never the social guy in his group of friends. He was always a loner, just like Pidge described him. His mother left him as a kid and his father left due to figuring out about their anger issues. He grew up in an orphanage, alone, and unwanted. Keith made a couple friends, but ended up fleeing and leaving them behind. He's going to a high school for the first time, and is nervous as hell.

When they finally get in they realise that this school is much more that it seems. You also have a magic puppet or a animal totem like some like to call it. You can choose to hide it in you but most people like to let it out free. ----------- This story is kinda a dance AU mixed with fantasy and high school drama. For this story i used many anime inspiration (like how i used nishinoya from haikyuu in this story) WARNING: bad grammar (my first language is french), some things that you might not understnad (sorry if i do a reference of i explain something not properly) and gradually when character will grow up the age of the content will too so THIS STORY IS 16+ (im not even 16 but you know what i mean) cause of some references, language and subject

Lance thinks he's choking, but he also thinks it's because of the way his eyes water and breath gets short. Keith, who, Lance notes, is an inch or so taller than he was before, grapples at Lance. He's babbling something in Lance's neck (it's either oh my god or just Lance over and over again). They both, undoubtedly, probably look gross. But, if you can guess, Lance doesn't give two shits. All he does, with that thought in mind, is grab Keith by his cheeks and kiss him. It's not long, but it feels like it. He missed Keith. Oh, how he missed Keith." -- When Lance died, he had no idea that Red would automatically reconnect with Keith. With the aftermath of both of these problems, the boys have to navigate through daily life-- Keith with the idea the love of his life is dead, and Lance dealing with the absence of Keith and the effect of his death on himself.

A hurting and confused Lance is tricked into eating a magic poison fruit at a ball. With only limited time to save him will his true love be the one Lance was expecting? Entirely based on the poison apple scene from the 2007 Disney movie Enchanted
