Lance Sanchez has lived on the island of Cuba for as long as he can remember. He loves the ocean, nonetheless the beach and all there is to it. One day he receives news that there is going to be a surfing competition at his beach. The one that is near his house that he always goes to. He is mad, and considers the competition to be "stupid". It all changes when a particular surfer catches his eye. This story is based off of the show Voltron: Legendary Defender. It features the characters, which by all means do NOT belong to me. This fanfic is also boy x boy, and it is based off of the pairing klance.

The mission should have been simple. It was a get in-get out situation. Keith had done them an uncountable number of times before, this one shouldn't have been different. It should have run like clockwork. Yet; there he was. Passed out cold and covered in oozing cuts and bruises. Merely a skeleton of someone Keith cared dearly for. Keith didn't understand why he was there. How long had he been strapped to this table, fed through a tube and slowly dying? Why hadn't the rest of the team told Keith he was missing? Most importantly, how was he meant to get him out of there and back to the Castle without being caught? And why, once he wakes, can't Lance remember anything?

Lance McClain loved Christmas more than anyone. The decorations of brightly coloured lights were strung around the room. Lance laughed as he felt one of his many siblings placed silver tinsel on top of his head, the scratchy material irritating his darkened skin. The scent of cinnamon and ginger floated throughout the room, reminding Lance's loud family of the baking that was currently in the oven. The warm heat from the crackling logs had the large family curling around it. Each one of the smaller children had grabbed multiple coloured fluffy blankets, enjoying the warmth they provided. Laughter overpowered the quiet movie displayed on the screen. Lance felt safe for the first time in a while.
