He had bad mental health- he wouldn't talk about it, but the dreadful emptiness and sorrow that weighted him, the constant worries and fears of anxiety taunted him. He didn't know how to deal. The only person he opened up to about any of it was his sweet, beautiful, loving boyfriend Lotor who would make sure he was happy and healthy each and every day, for more than a year. He felt so loved, which was really good for him. Until Lotor had gotten bored. Bored of Keith. Lotor stopped talking to him for days, it drove Keith crazy. And then he left. But that was two months ago. You'd think 'Hey, Keith should be fine by now.' He was the farthest thing from. But this wasn't about Keith and Lotor. This is a medieval fantasy at where i make my fave vharacter a angst BAMF Soft boy (tm). This is my first fan fiction but not my first book so please, no hate and only read if you would like. When Lance talked to Keith about his insecurities, the last thing he expected was for Keith to step out of Voltron so Lance could pilot the Red Lion. Lance goes to talk to Keith again, and they start to get more comfortable with each other. Takes place directly after season 3

the universe could never be against these two, could it? Keith and Lance had been joined at the hip ever since they were young. always getting into trouble, and never really caring because they always had each other. they couldn't ever seem to rid themselves of the friendship that they had forged, even way into adulthood. they had chosen to go into the same professional field of work and even got assigned as partners for the government agency in which they worked for. they argued very little and always seemed to keep up their professional front. however, when one day sends them on a mission to disarm a ticking time bomb, the two are too late and end up getting killed by bits of shrapnel and the sheer force of the explosion. yet, just before they die, time reverses to two hours prior to the explosion and reverses the effects of the previous detonation. they are completely in tact and fine, apart from the fact, they can't leave the room, and they can't seem to disarm the bomb. is fate telling them to completely relive their death scenes all over again but this time for real? or is some miracle going to save them from the death that they could experience, leaving them walking out of that room with something more?
