[Updates at least once a month.] Keith and Pico were close friends as children, that is, until Keith ended up moving out after the third grade. Coming back a few years later, he finds that Pico seems to be a whole new person- unable to look him in the eye, constantly carrying a gun, and a huge scowl dominating his face. Though Keith knows of an incident happening at their school after he moved away, he doesn't know the full details- and after pushing a little too far to get an explanation out of his childhood friend, he and Pico have a falling out. A year or so later, the two of them meet again when Keith challenges him to a rap battle, and after seeing the terror in Pico's eyes from the sounds of a thunderstorm, Keith realizes there's more to his old friend than he knows. As Keith is desperate to help Pico heal, and Pico is equally as determined to push him away, the two of them begin to rekindle their friendship- and maybe, after Pico opens up to someone for the first time in a long time, even something more. [hey guys! this is my first fanfic on here so it might update kind of erratically, i also only joined the fandom recently and though i know about the events of pico's school, i'm not perfect so i might mess some things up. this isn't an au by the way, just my take on their past relationship, as i prefer them to be past friends who had a falling out rather than exes. basically Pico acts differently after the trauma he went through at his school, and Keith doesn't know that there's more to his old friend than just a frown. aka- Cherry (gf) and Keith are exes turned best friends having fun rap battling, and take Pico into their group. there will be explanations for the actions of Cherry's parents and all that jazz, it's just not explained in this description]

this story is based on an omegaverse (and the popular game series fnf/friday night funkin') where a junior and senior from high school meet in an alleyway to compete against each other in a very intense rap battle. they eventually turn from foe's to friends, but will that turn into something even more??...

Ever since the school shooting, Pico had been depressed, and had PTSD. He was happy he at least saved his boyfriend, but he disappeared out of nowhere. Leaving him alone. He assumed he was dead, he was even sadder without the love of his life not in his life anymore. Blue birds always reminded him about his boyfriend. Years later, he's been assigned to kill someone, or at least try to. He couldn't kill this person. He just couldn't..

(DISCONTINUED) Keith admired his Idol for a long time, his name was Pico. His songs were lively and a bop, thats why he liked him so much, in a friendly way and loving way. He got two VIP tickets that he got for his birthday for him and his 'girlfriend' in the front row for his idol's upcoming concert. His girlfriend, Cherry, found out about his feelings that day, and felt hurt, but still thought the duo was cute. His Idol luckily noticed him, and took a liking to him. Surprised by the thought Keith's idol noticed him, and invited him on stage, he sang his heart out to express his feelings to him. The two boys went from strangers, to friends, to lovers, and possibly more, and their friends were there to support them, to make their bond stronger. Ever since that day, things changed, in a good way. This was their start of their everlasting relationship. COVER ART ISN'T MINE!

A few weeks passed after the duo's battle, and soon Pico had gained feelings for Keith. Keith on the other hand, still thought he had hated his guts, or he didn't wanna talk to him after the battle. Pico ran into Keith one day and took his chance to confess. This is how a true love story binds into a song.

Keith has transferred to a new school to start a fresh and get away from his problems. He finishes emptying out his parents car with his stuff before waving goodbye. He will be on his own now. Life has been hard for Keith. He is easily scared and jumps and mostly anything sudden. He has never made friends with anyone. But that's about to change once he starts school.

The worst, though, is Pico. Known well for picking on him. Although, Something about him was a bit odd to Keith. Everytime he's around him, he starts to feel all warm and fuzzy inside. uhm, ok. i've had this for a good month or two now? summary: en route to pico's apartment, boyfriend runs into someone from pico's past that he was hoping to leave behind. it's a perfect catalyst for some impromptu meetings, bullets, and... feelings? truth be told, i just wanted a "serious" bf & pico fic that wasn't incredibly smutty. that's just my taste,,, i'm a very vanilla reader with that being said, content warnings for: • light blood • violence • (censored) swearing bf x pico is more implied, if you really want to read it as platonic, ignore the end of the final chapter. that's all!
