This is going to follow along the show pretty well except for your past obviously. I am aware that fan fictions about a "Purple Paladin" or a "Purple Lion" are already a thing. Plus, those stories are probably a lot better than mine but, I just had an idea about writing this story and I figured that I might as well share it for the people that will enjoy it. Sometimes I look in the mirror and think 'how did I get into this mess, a mess filled with adventure, fantasy, space, and maybe even...love?' I still ask myself what would have happened if I hadn't enrolled in the garrison, met Lance and Hunk, or have gone to the roof that night with Pidge, maybe not have gotten onto that hover bike with Keith and Shiro that had just fallen from space, or if I hadn't just shot lighting out of my body, and became a Paladin of Voltron?!

Nine-thousand-nine-hundred-and-eighty-two years later, the rock leaves the lion and goes to a baby in a local hospital. The rock melts itself and goes into the baby's bloodstream. During the Galra attack Princess Allura, Coran, and you (Princess Clara, her younger sister) were all put into the healing pods. After 10,000 years the new paladins have shown up to the castle. As soon as they walked into the room, the power returned and two pods ascended from the floor. Allura and Coran have awoken...but you haven't. Your pod was damaged and defective. The defective healing pod allowed you to still remain partially conscience. While your body was asleep, your mind was awake. You were in a comatose state and you might wake up, or you might not. If you do wake up you might realize that the world is not the same as you thought it was and you might realize that 10,000 years alone with your thoughts can cause some damage.
