Hanahaki Disease is a potentially fatal disease where the victim regurgitates flower petals when they suffer from perceived one-sided love. (Even if the person the victim loves feels the same way, if the victim is unaware of those feelings, the disease continues). It can be cured through surgical removal, but the victim's romantic feelings for their love also disappear. That's exactly what Keith Kogane was diagnosed with. Now he only has one week. He loved him too much. He doesn't want the feelings to disappear. You see, he thought Shiro didn't love him back. "Thought" ... He loved flowers so much. He loved Shiro so much. This is a sheith fix-it fic, because the epilogue of season 8 was so terrible, and I don't accept it. Summary: Three years after Shiro got married and Keith joined the Blade of marmora in their mission to give aid to those in need, Keith suddenly comes back to meet with Shiro. Things have been bad between Shiro and his husband for a while and maybe this time things can finally be resolved between them, now that Keith is back in his orbit.

One day Keith has a steamy dream about Shiro and he never figures out why he had that dream but one day he realized why.

The year was 1941, two years since World War two has started. Fighting was happening all over the world, countless deaths, countless homes destroyed and people were forced out of their homes. People were still recovering from The Great Depression so this war wasn't helping anyone. Shiro, one of the soldiers from Japan, now America's ally, was sent to America for a mission but he was shot down from his plane. Landing in the middle of Texas. When he woke, his plane was completely destroyed and most of the men on his ship were dead. His arm was missing and he had scars all over his body. Weeks go by and he decides to try and over his PTSD and go to a night club with his friend Matt, one of the men who lived from the plane crash. At this night club, well more like a place where rich men with money go to watch Girls, some men too, to dance. That's where Shiro see's the beautiful Keith Kogane, the night club's sparkling diamond. Though Keith has a time limit, he has a bad disease and he cant be cured. The two meet and fall in love but for what cost? // If any of you have seen Moulin Rouge, I am basing it off of that, so I dont own half the plot. Neither do I own the characters.
