Kellin Quinn and Vic Fuentes used to be the best of friends but one day something happened that made Vic turn his back on Kellin when he needed him the most. Kellin feels as if it's all his fault and can't stand to be around Vic without getting annoyed or depressed. Vic finds it hard being around Kellin, what with not being able to tell him that he loves him, and not being able to call him his. Vic and Kellin have their secrets, but will they be able to trust each other to ask for help? Will them being partnered up for a project help them open up?

Vic and Kellin attend a seniors only camp sponsored by a high end performing arts college in Los Angeles. At this camp, they are given a month to create a song with their cabin mates. Who ever writes and performs The best song gets a trophy and a full scholarship to that college.

Vic Fuentes could literally not bring himself to care. About grades, teachers, parents, girls, you name it. That is until one day Kellin Quinn accidentally ends up in Vic's home territory, detention. And suddenly Vic finds himself caring a whole awful lot about someone, who he would have never expected.

Kellin Quinn is the new guy. Vic Fuentes is the boss of the school. Kellin has a crush on Vic. Vic seems to hate Kellin, but he's attracted to him. What will happen when the two get to know each other?
