Kobe believes the stores of the evil beast in the river are just that stores made by grown-ups to keep kids out of the water. but he will soon learn these stories are not just stories they're very much real. I will add more tags as I go.

A strange force has swept over the Fae Courts. The Village of Byol is a most vile place. The lords and ladys that govern it are callous and consumed by greed. While they sit in safe and warm manor homes, feasting on many fine beasts, the people of the village are left to wither and fear that which dwells in the nearby marshes. The Marshes claim many victims each year, most of which are the lives of the brave hunters who must enter the marshes in search of food. They encounter many beast, but none are so majestic and beautiful as the Kelpie, the shining Waterhorse of the murky marshes.

Moira was ready for something new. Scratch that; anything new at all. After not having left the comfort of her chosen canal for centuries, she wanted to see the new world, and all that it had to offer. The only problem is, she seems to have picked the least human area around and keeps getting mixed up in the problems of werewolves and vampires. She feels wrapped in their wars and unable to maintain the semi-quiet life she desired. Warnings: This story had lesbian themes, I don't think I made that obvious but it does. Also, kelpies are supposed to be human-eating monsters, thus, Moira eats people. I've not written anything graphic (I could not stomach that) but it is made abundantly clear. And for any nitpickers, I've interpreted the myths how I wanted and felt appropriate, there are no guidelines for kelpies, or any other Scottish myth, so just go with it.

Her parents (David and Susan) decided to erase her memories and hide her, they wanted her to live a happy normal life. Eleven years later she was 16, she was adopted by a Headmaster of an Academy (Mr. Richard Forks,) there she lived normally - but she wasnt happy. Flashbacks, day dreams and nightmares werent making her as happy as her parents wanted; her mind wanted to fight for her memories eleven years ago. A few weeks later a boy (Edward Blake) came to the Academy and wanted to learn about Tiffany. He has known her for eleven years now, because he was the one that truly saved her life when she nearly got killed by a vampire E - a beast who take on a human form, a person that loses their own self. But she doesnt remember any of that, and the person that she's been in love with for eleven years (Hugh Jack) lied to her on that cold snowy night. That's why she doesnt know the bond between her and Edward. Memories... will overcome a terrifying turn.

Would you believe me that this was a story nearly 10 years in the making? These characters had manifested themselves in the horse-obsessed mind of a fantasy-enthralled little girl. I had sketched out an entire graphic novel. I had written songs. I wrote and kept this up for several years. People change. Whether I was dissuaded by the fact that this never got any traction or my own personal life sapping away more and more of my usual wonder, I can't say for sure any more. I'm 20 years old now. I can't in good conscience keep writing this, knowing just how much I want it to change, how much of it I no longer agree with or can even pretend to empathize with. It was a test of my imagination and dedication, but it's time to let it lay and rest. If you do happen to read it, I hope you enjoy it. I hope you write something better and I hope you finish it. <3
