Have you ever felt like waking up from a dream that lasted for more than a decade and you feel so light; so pure; so innocent that you cannot believe that you're breathing in the air of a generation that you knew was corrupt and error pining? Yet in spite of all these thoughts, you knew that you belonged in that time, that you had something to do even though you have no idea what that thing was. You brave through your aching limbs and get up, ignoring the wave of nausea that crashed against your head as you walk towards the light at the end of the tunnel. You have read scenarios like that before in books and have seen similar ones in movies; of people following the light, running after the brightness, hoping that they'd find something to escape nothing. You knew that it would end up in peace, in death, but you still follow it anyway because you knew that there's something waiting for you at the other side. Yes, there was something waiting at the other side; something that you're destined to fulfill; something that would imply a new start for you - an end to your previous beginnings. The only question is: are you ready?

"STOP IGNORING ME." I saw the breath leave my chapped lips in the cold air, my hands slowly unclenched and I turned to face him once again. "Listen, that was a mistake. On both of our parts." I spoke slowly to make sure he would be able to comprehend what I was saying. "Now leave me alone." I finished my sentence and tried to walk away. But of course, that spoiled brat always has some type of retaliation. "No. I don't want to." His jaw was clenched and for once in his life he looked serious. I scoffed loudly. "Dude I told you to let me be, what more could you want now? My best friend likes you, can't you understand that? We need to stop this weird sexual vibe between us. Okay? Okay!" Not letting him get another word in I ran off back inside the house and tried to find Eliza. Every time I saw her face, it made my heart fill with guilt. She's liked him for years now. I'd say it's an obsession but she'd be stubborn and deny, deny, deny. But it's clear as day. She's obsessed with a pathetic, stereotypical, cocky, narcissistic, yet still handsome man. Maybe I should drink this memory away.
