Kelsey od zawsze była buntowniczą i pewną siebie dziewczyną, a jej wybuchowy temperament często sprawiał jej problemy. Jednak kiedy wszystko zaszło za daleko musiała stawić czoła swoim konsekwencjom. Po wielokrotnych bójkach i zaczepkach została wydalona ze szkoły, a tym samym przeprowadziła się z Wirgini do Miami. Rodzice nie wiedzieli co zrobić z córką, po prostu taka była i nie dało się jej zmienić. Nikt nie umiał jej poznać, zbliżyć się czy chociaż jej zrozumieć. Sytuacja zacznie się zmieniać po rozpoczęciu nauki w nowej szkole.
