Kender Stories

A short from a story I hope to write one day. "It had started as a simple game of cards, a couple drinks, maybe a bit of honest mocking..." Spijk often finds himself in these kind of situations; one second everything is good, the next people are coming after him with some kind of impromptu vendetta. Luckily, he always has his bestie to get him out of trouble. Characters: Spijk - He/him, bi, super friendly and energetic, very loyal, but has 0% ability to read the room. Cathar - She/they, lesbian, big, intimidating older sister friend with a good sense of humor.

It is an ancient Mariner, And he stoppeth one of three. 'By thy long grey beard and glittering eye, Now wherefore stopp'st thou me? We've all read Samuel Coleridge's classic poem, The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. But what if the mariner was really...a dwarf? And what if, instead of three bridegrooms, it was Raistlin the Mage held captive, listening to the tale? What follows is the first part an exciting story filled with kender, theft (of course), dwarven treasure, and dragon, in the style of Coleridge. Set in the world of Krynn, this is the tale of Edmund Barkwood's adventures roaming the countryside. Meet fast-talking gnomes, grumpy wizards and terrifying creatures all while enjoying the antics of our short hero in his quest to defeat that ever-present and formidable foe, Boredom.

Frizzal Featherfoot, like any kender, enjoyed traveling in search of something new and spectacular. Oddly enough, his adventures led him to Faerun, where he decided to write a journal of his experiences.
