The year is 1981, and the Who had just released their album 'Face Dances' with their replacement drummer Kenney Jones. John Entwistle, the thunderous bassist and the quiet member of the explosive band, still hasn't healed from the death of his bandmate and lover, Keith Moon. He barely holds on these days after losing the love of his life, but the kind-hearted ex Small Faces drummer catches his eye.
