When Natalie moves to Cornwall, she feels old dreams of the sea stir. Delighted to arrive there, her happiness is tainted by the strange things she keeps seeing that no one else can see except the strange, hostile, local girl Kensa and her brother Austell. Yet despite her hostility, when her sister Megan is taken by the supposedly mythical creatures that lurk unseen, Natalie must work with the Kensa. She and her family are the only others who know what has really happened; and they too have lost a child.

First love

An Octoling named Mona hated life. She hated being picked on. Her birth defect made her the most picked on throughout Inkopolis Square. All that changed one day, when Kensa stomped out the only fun thing to do. The Kensa Control was coming, and Mona had to stop it.
