A hundred die every day on the continent of Kenshi. To survive in of itself is impressive, to survive alone is another thing entirely. Though even when you intend to stay alone, you can never expect who the winds might send your way. This is the story of four souls, across the continent all connected in ways they didn't even know, all with their own lives, their own goals and their own troubles. If you don't know what Kenshi is, it's a fantastic yet incredibly janky indie game, I adore the setting and its possibly my favourite game of all time. This is purely a side project and will be uploaded whenever I finish chapters. This story is one of cool battles, survival and eventually found family dynamics. This is my attempt at writing a bit of fan fiction from one of my favorite games, based off a character I found compelling. The main character is a creature known as a Hiver, essentially humanoid ants, but this one was exiled from the hive for being too big. What would the first few days be like when ripped from the world you were designed for? How would it feel to be abandoned for being too good for the job, but just not worth the extra cost to keep you? And at the end of the day, what is it like being a bug man in a cruel world?
