But before it hatched the egg became corrupted absorbing the spiritual energy from the rotlings who roamed the gaslight district below corrupting Y/N who when born didn't come out a blessing but instead a curse. Seen as a abomination he was banished from the world above and left to fend for himself in the district where he soon came across a certain sleazy rotling who took him in as a protégé who knew a certain butcher who also just so happened to have taken in a human of his own who which soon fell for Y/N who also fell for her.
