This story takes place about a month after the events of the Six of Crows. You have always been a strong Corporalki but when you manage to create a person from nothing the gangs of the barrel become interested. After escaping kidnapping by the Dime Lions you find yourself stumbling into one of the many gambling dens of Ketterdam and falling into a life of crime, all the while become increasingly closer to the mysterious leader of the dregs, the bastard of the Barrel himself.

When a girl's fiancé is killed during their wedding, her best friend steps in to marry her instead. She now must deal with the loss of her love while also figuring out how to balance her new life with her old, all without ruining her most cherished relationship forever.
