I saw her staring at me with those wide emerald eyes. Her pupil did not move. She did not blink. She has no expression. She has no fear. I leaned close to her until our eyes are only an inch apart and asked her, "Are you blind?"

Sakura wakes up one morning to find herself not in her own room, but in Eriol's house with no memory of how she had even ended up there in the first place. How did she get here? Why is she in Eriol's house? And most importantly: Why in the blazing suns is she seeing the face of Spinel Sun staring back at her through the glass? Oh sugar snaps! Sakura sets out on an inward journey to the place where all of this began. I love the characters and the innocence of this show, but I really wanted to see them grow up. I expected the new season would shed some insight into this, but for me, it wasn't that great. So here's a fanfiction to explore the life of the Cardcaptors years into the future. This story takes place after the Second Movie, and doesn't consider the new Arc into its timeline.
