replacing one of my least favorite characters

Kestrel's life has always been miserable, especially with Queen Scarlet around. She was allowed no happiness whatsoever and Queen Scarlet had everything she could have ever wanted. Scarlet was her friend but now, they were sworn enemies, forever. This is just a fan fiction based in the world of Wings of Fire that was created by Tui T. Sutherland.

Kestrel is a loyal SkyWing soldier, forced to choose between her queen and her dragonets. Dune is a SandWing general scarred by war, an outcast from society. Webs is afraid for his life, seeing firsthand the horrors of war. They raised the Dragonets of Destiny. And these are their stories. *Contains spoilers for books one, two, and five.*

When the team stumbles upon Superboy, they also find a clone of Hawkgirl, Kestrel. Will they ever find out about her past? Will they be able to trust her? Read to find out. A partial spinoff of my fairly successful Kestrel's Diary Original and Sequel. Shorts could be from any perspective. Some may be based off of some stories from Kestrel's Diary so that may want to be read first. Shorts will include little stories of different characters and is not from any actual vainglory lore. Please note vainglory will change and may make some of the stories irrelevant. Shorts don't need to be read in any order (although some shorts may relate to previous/upcoming shorts) and reading in order will sometimes allow for some Easter eggs from previous stories or one of my other vainglory stories. Having killed her son to save the life of her daughter, Kestrel must now face the task of killing another dragonet deemed 'unfit' for a prophecy.

On the island of Estlyn, everything has been peaceful since the civil war centuries ago. When a mysterious illness begins to spread throughout the land and make people disappear from their homes in the middle of the night, the island goes into havoc. Kestrel Silvera has never left the safety of her woodland home: Silvis Wood. She has also never heard of the illness until she encounters two strange travelers headed towards the Elven Capital. Jasper Simmons and Jason Demio are on a quest: solve the mystery of the illness. After Jasper's family was directly hit, they set off on a journey to solve the riddle. Together, Jasper, Jason, and Kestrel embark on a perilous adventure to save their land.

This is a WoF fanfic about if Sunny's animus dragonet found Kestrel's body & brought her back to life. Just so you know, I probably won't update regularly, so if I don't do anything for a while, I'm still alive, just lazy. WoF belongs to Tui T. Sutherland.
