Imagine Kate and Rick meeting each other before he was a writer and Kate was his muse, before she was a detective or captain. Just think, what would have happened if they met in high school, and continued their love story from there. Will Rick still be a writer? Will Kate become a detective? The new school year starts with a new english teacher, Richard Castle. Her father is her teacher. Richard and Kate bump into each other in the hallways. For Mr. Castle, it is love at first sight. For Ms. Beckett, she thinks she found a new friend. Esposito and Ryan are the gym teachers. Lanie is the health/nurse. Montgomery and Gates are the principals. Johanna is alive.

Kate and Rick bump into each other at a bar. There is a karaoke at the bar they are at. Kate is forced to sing on stage by her friends. Rick is forced to sing too by his friends. What happens when they see each other? What happens when they sing for the other person? Is it love at first sight or song at first sight? Read on to find out.
