There's something about 𝐑𝐚𝐟𝐞 that makes people stay away from him. He's unpredictable, difficult to read, and definitely not someone you want to get on the wrong side of. Most people already have an opinion about him, whether they actually know him or not. She's never been the type to care about what other people think. 𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐚 has her own friends, her own way of doing things, and she's perfectly happy keeping it that way. Especially when it comes to the Kooks. For some reason, Rafe and Jenna have always hated each other. There's no real explanation for it. They just do. They never planned on being around each other, yet somehow they keep ending up in the same places. Parties, the beach, random nights out - wherever one of them goes, the other seems to show up eventually. Neither of them thinks much of it. But the more it happens, the harder it becomes to believe it's just a coincidence. Something between them is changing, even if neither of them wants to admit it. And maybe whatever is happening started long before either of them noticed.

Lucille Frances Maybank reeked of the outdoors. A Pogue through and through by manner of seeking adventure, drinking too much and living in squalor.
