10 years of friendship is a hard thing to acquire. John B. Routledge, JJ Maybank, Kiara Carerra, Pope Heyward and Y/N have been friends since the 3rd grade. Living freely on the cut, they called themselves the Pogues. This is the type of friendship that is never broken. But there is a rule in place that prevents any drama. This rule can be broken but at what cost. The girl gently kissed his lips and all that was wrong in his life just vanished and all he felt was the slight pressure of her gentle angel kiss. Her lips were sweet and her soul was made of pure gold. JJ knew she was hand sculpted by god and kissed by every angel to ever see heaven. JJ always had his doubts on getting into heaven because of the bad things done to him and how he lived but at that very moment he knew that Erela was the closest to heaven he would ever get and maybe just maybe if she loved him enough and saw his good heart, then maybe god would trust the judgement of his very own angel and let him into heaven.

The alcoholism and substance use might've had an effect on his view of the pogues, but at the time he had nothing on his mind other than sex,drugs,etc, and of course, Dylan.
